Cloud requesting photos five months in?

Hi all

I started MJ with another provider in late December so provided photos to them for my original prescriptions. I moved to Cloud for month three due to their better maintenance plans (thinking ahead!). Cloud have now requested photos with a piece of paper showing the date, tight fitting clothes etc. following the enhanced regulations.

Trouble is I’m now very close to goal and my photos won’t show someone who is obese but someone very slightly into the overweight BMI category.

I have emailed and included the photos taken for my first provider but have no response so wondered whether others has experienced this?

Like you I moved to Cloud because of their maintenance policy and am now 12Lb from a healthy weight. I wouldn’t worry, they know how tall you are and how much you weigh and your photo will reflect that.

I had to do this over the weekend. I'm at the top of the healthy range now, going into maintenance and titrating down, which I put down on the order form. I wore flesh coloured chub rub shorts and a sports bra for the photo. I'm pear shaped and my top half is very slim now (one benefit of being obese was having a cleavage) but my lower belly, hips and legs are still holding weight which you could see. Sent the photo on Sunday and had an email first thing Monday to say my pen had been dispatched.

Since the new prescribing guidelines were published many providers have been working through existing customers asking for photos.

If you have a prescribing history and are close to maintenance they won't be expecting to see a photo of an obese person, they will be checking they are still ok to prescribe to you and you are still a weight that is permitted for prescribing for maintenance.

OP, they are not prescribing for the weight that you were a few months ago, but for the weight you are now, and your future maintenance. Just be honest.

I had to send a photo in after six months with the same pharmacy. The photos were incredibly different!
