Hi, I'm coming up to my one year anniversary on MJ.

Was wondering if anyone else has been using WLI for this time and what your plans are?

I've lost between 2.5-3 stone and got to a healthy weight i was happy with. I'm quite short. I lost very slowly. Lots of people have been commenting on my weight loss in the last month or so.

I started to tail off the dose and haven't decided what to do about maintenance yet. Had to miss 2 doses due to an operation and have put on about 4lbs in 2 weeks. I've eaten so many biscuits and have been quite inactive.

Took 2.5mg on Friday but not feeling it's doing much yet.

I think I’d like to continue. My experience goes back to the daily pens (had lost total of 4 stone overall in what would be considered as very slowly) when you didn’t think to draw any bonus dose or anything like that so going forward that is my mantra on these weekly’s.

Yesterday evening I was like do I start back sooner (nearly did but drove myself away) or leave it try getting to end of antibiotics and take foods coming my way to assist with the current medication load. Hospital said I could go back as quickly as I like (they are not WM though) but the pharmacy I buy from was like leave it a bit. (even though I haven’t been in hospital with pancreatitis or anything related specifically even though that was the pharmacists first thought as soon as I mentioned hospital)

Not been able to weigh for some time since last month. I’m mixed what has happened there. I’m not wanting to rage eat everything and anything but can do a packet of 4 big cookies spread across 2 days wondering how much is boredom. I’ve been back to making frozen bark with natural yoghurt and fruit, enjoying steak sandwich, brought myself one of those weight watchers ice blenders so can make fruity or veggie based ice coolers.

Hey, I’m coming up on a year on MJ on 21 May. Can’t believe how fast it has gone! This is the longest I have EVER continuously lost weight. Any previous diets have lasted a few weeks but a year now on this, wow! I’ve lost a total of 47lb so it has been slow. Gone from 14st 5 to 11st. Would love to get into the 10st bracket but it’s all slowed down so much it’s proving impossible. Been hovering on 11st a few months now. I’m with oushk on their conti maintenance plan and intend to stay on MJ for life if I can. Never went above 7.5 and hope to titrate down to 5 eventually

i started in April 24 and by Nov/Dec had hit my goal of BMI 22 and 62kg. I started at 88kg but had also had a gastric sleeve 3 years prior and had plateaued at 85-88 kg for 2 years despite gym 5X week and 5:2 diet.

I went up 2.5mg doses every 4 weeks and remained on 15mg from October- November. Since then I have titrated down in the same way. I’m now on 7 mg but over 10 days. I’ve lost 1/2 kg since January. but this seems to be the place I am happy with. It’s just a case of finding that ‘nirvana’ of hungry enough to eat mindfully (making good choices , prioritising protein and fibre) and having sufficient suppression to walk past food that I don’t need and has no nutritional value.

Started last day of May last year at 18 stone, now 11 stone...desperately hoping to see a 10 stone before the month is up.

I will stay on this for life, I have read up on the longevity benefits, and find the lack of food noise so freeing.

I’m coming up for a year, I have lost 7st 2lbs. I still have another 3st to get to a healthy BMI but I am going to gradually come off Mounjaro when I’ve lost another 2, as I would like to have a go at maintaining my weight before trying for the final stone. This could take a while anyway as the losses have slowed down drastically recently. I am with Oushk so it shouldn’t be a problem to restart with them as long as I do the maintenance plan to stay on their books (I forget the name). I may decide not to if I am happy with my weight. I have never ever stuck at a diet this long, I am so proud but also a bit fearful because I can’t remember life before Mounjaro! It’s comforting to know that I could stay on the medication for life if needs be.

I’m loving buying new clothes in smaller sizes! And I’ve been religiously going to the gym and I love how much fitter I am as well. Well done everybody!
