Frozen pen

Currently on holiday abroad.

Arrived at hotel vey late and tired, remembered to put pen straight into the fridge. Next morning it had frozen solid.

Today was injection day but obviously didn’t take it.

Im guessing I will have to start again at 2.5 ?
Im on my 2nd 7.5 pen, I was taking 5mg as from it because the 7.5 was too strong for me.

How long will it have been since your last injection by the time you’re back from holiday and have a new pen?

The reason I’m asking is because the advice to start again at 2.5 is only if there’s more than 2 weeks between injections.

@SilenceInside thank you for replying I’m home late Thursday next week which would be 12 days.
Im with MedExpress but a local pharmacy has started prescribing so I intend to talk to them and can hopefully pick up on Friday which will be 13 days.
Might just make it !

Sprry to sound ignorant but could you let it thaw and it be ok? Might be worth checking with supplier?

@GoodCharl the paper patient info leaflet that comes with the pen is very clear that if the pen is ever frozen, do not use it.

yes @GoodCharl everything I’ve read says not to use if frozen.
