I have the worst mental block with the spelling of this medication!! Almost did it wrong again but THINK it's correct now. Obviously 3rd time's the charm!!

Morning weigh in and disappointingly the same as the last 2 weeks. I'm on mu 2nd 5 pen, wondering if I should've stepped up to 7.5, but the 3rd week of 5 was so bad with SE that I chickened out. Think I'll have to go up next pen. I've has good suppression during the day and meals still alot smaller, but evenings I'm finding not snacking hard to resist. Oh well, it's still 20lbs off and clothes fitting so much better. Think I'll jab today rather than tomorrow morning.

Thanks, that's really helpful as I'm also not sure about whether to say I'm not taking full 5mg yet. Glad it went ok, hopefully a one off and no need for more humiliation!

Will try this again, week 10/11 here and done jab straight from the fridge as when I didn’t I was getting awful bruises but last two weeks giant weals of red - so big I’m actually going to have to change injection site I think!

wondering whether to do arm (very flabby with lots of loose skin) or thigh (actually quite muscular and not a lot of fat to inject into.

Have to say the level of swelling hasn’t come down with anthisan, copious antihistamines so might have to look at buying something else to put on it.

They must get people using smaller doses because of SE all the time, I wouldn't worry. They'll still want your money no doubt!

On another note, what a funny job the "fat checkers" have 😂 In my mind, they're all devastatingly slim and gorgeous too 😂🤦‍♀️

Hi all, I’m getting quite frustrated with my progress these last few weeks so I must need to make some changes somewhere

in the last 4 weeks I’ve lost just under 2kg but I just seem to be feeling absolutely nothing from the jabs, I’m still eating less but probably more at some points than i previously was.

I ended up having 2 weeks off of the jabs and when I came back I did a 2.5mg, a 3.75mg, a 5mg and then yesterday I had my second 5mg. Before I went away I was definitely having good appetite suppression and had very slight nausea sometimes, felt cold and had the strange feeling in my mouth. Lately I guess I have some appetite suppression and possibly a slight feeling in my mouth but nothing like before.

does this mean it’s not working anymore?? My weight loss has slowed down as well but this week I am on my period so that’s always slowed things a bit but I’m also going away again on Tuesday to go to the Isle of Wight festival so won’t have much access to good food choices and also the alcohol intake will go up for a few days so none of that will be in my favour so I feel like I’m just going to be stuck in one place now

I started at 99.3kg and I’m currently 90.4kg so I’m happy but not feeling as good as I did before my first holiday 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Hottest day of the year despatch for my pen yesterday from Oushk, it's just arrived with pack melted but super cold. For all their faults otherwise, their deliveries, on chosen day with the postie (on Saturdays usually for me) have been spot on.

@TC4 Shotsy shows that it takes 3 weeks to build up at start, highest on week4 so hang in there. Eating more when hungry may help too, convinced I wasn't going to lose as had more hunger at times this week, drank loads of water though, and 2lb lost. Bet you'll have a whoosh after period and festival 🤞

Oh thank you, I do hope you are right and I did wonder if it would take time to build back up after the 2 week gap. I actually just downloaded shotsy to input my details but it says to see the amount of estimated medication level you need to have premium and I’m not sure if it’s worth paying for 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

@QS90 she was actually desperately normal BMI - I wonder if that’s part of the job description 😂

Does anyone know what 32 clicks of a 5mg pen equates to as a dose please? I’ve managed that as my last dose, not counting the golden dose which I’ll do next week, thanks

I'm just under another kilo down this morning, so just over 8kg down from when I started on 5th April. I'm happy with that.No side effects so far from going up to 3.75mg.

I’ve been losing and gaining the same 2lbs for few weeks and I’m getting fed up now. Without the MJ, I’d have thrown in the towel by now. And some.

What dose are you on @NotsosunnyShropshire? When that happened to me I went up a dose and now I’m losing 2lb a week!

I’m on my 2nd 5mg pen. Already have a 7.5mg pen in the fridge.

Maybe I should slightly increase my last couple of jabs on this pen….

I’ll see how I feel next week.

Here is another video about split/micro dosing. This man is a paramedic (if I remember correctly) and I’ve followed him for a while.
The information about his change in dosing is around 2/3 in.

Similar to you @NinetyNineRedBalloonsGoBy I went up a dose because I felt I had stalled and have been surprised by the difference it has made (up to 5mg). Am still a bit bemused to see the weight dropping off on the higher dose as I don’t feel I’m doing anything else differently! I’m also consistently seeing 2lb/week now - am just about to start week 10, this will be week 3 of 5mg for me. Let us know what you decide @NotsosunnyShropshire and if a step up in dose makes a difference. I’m just coming to the end of my first 5mg pen and have a second one ready, but not sure what I’ll do after that!

Just double checking that 4mg from 5mg pen is 48 clicks?? 48/60 x 5. Think that is right. Thanks

I’ve been on 7.5mg for 5 days now and have had no side effects. In fact, I’ve had fewer SE than when I was on 5mg. I think it’s because I’ve started injecting in my thigh instead of belly, that seems to make a big difference. No more nausea and headache on D2 like I used to get, no more constipation, and I can eat a more normal diet whereas at one point I was having to force myself to eat more than 800cals a day.

so first night out since starting MJ (I’m on week 11 just lead a very dull life) and one cocktail, one Prosecco and one Aperol spritz drunk over four hours has lead to a debilitating hangover today. Have felt really rotten, sick and exhausted. Feeling quite worried about the hen do I have coming up in two weeks 😢

I dropped back from 5 to 3.75 as I was having weird things with my vision and have got a bit stuck weight loss wise but the thing is, 3.75 is working in terms of not being hungry and I'm not eating or snacking more than I was. I don't really want to go up again so I'll see how it goes.

I am now just noticing a big difference in my clothes where they are now properly loose and don’t look quite right.

Ive tried on some ‘old’ clothes and lots now fit which is amazing. It’s odd as I’m only a couple of pounds lighter over a few weeks due to holiday/illness but just suddenly felt it! 🤷‍♀️

I wore a stunning dress to a wedding today Taft this time last week didn’t do up - it’s beautiful and loose - even though my scales are up!

Wk12 D2 Stayed the same & although I haven't over eaten I have definitely eaten a lot more over the week than the previous 11 weeks. Decided to up my dose to 7.5mg so took a 5mg then counted clicks to 30 & took the extra 2.5mg (2 needle tips, both primed etc).

I've ordered a 7.5 pen but hopefully will get another 7.5 dose from my current 5 pen using clicks then a needle for the extra bit.
