Sorry if TMI. I'm 57, no periods for years. Literally years. Have mirena plus oestrogen spray (lenzetto). Have noticed a very slight pink tinge to vaginal discharge. Used to get this 7 or 8 years ago when also on mirena but nothing for 4.5 years. WTF?

MJ can effect periods and there has been recent guideline changes from the menopause society which state that if you take oral progesterone you need to increase your dose due to it taking longer to get through you system and not being absorbed properly.
However your mirena should be fine.
If you do have a bleed you should get it checked out by a dr just to ensure everything is ok, but when it’s happened to me, it’s been because my HRT has been out of balance, has your mirena been in a while? Maybe you need a new one?

Losing significant weight and/or mounjaro has messed around with my hormones to the extent 2 years post meno I have now started HRT.

Oestrogen is stored in fat so if we lose fat rapidly it can mean more oestrogen is released/available. But I would have thought your mirena would deal with it, is it due to be replaced?

Worth mentioning to your Dr, along with telling them you are on Mounjaro and how much weight you have lost.

@wantmorenow I just asked this in another thread, I’ve seen a few people had similar but can’t find those threads now so don’t know outcome,
I Started Wk 5 and first 5mg on Wednesday no SE except for a surprise period although it is very light. I’m 56 had coil removed last summer after post menopausal spotting, biopsy done and all good and not had any problems since until Thursday. It feels very hormonal, I have PCOS and am not taking any HRT. I will see GP Monday but don’t really want periods again or to stop Mounjaro. Anyone else had similar problems, what was the outcome?

Thanks all for replying. Yes mirena due to be replaced August so may explain. The fat storage of oestrogen also interesting. List 3kg almost in 2 weeks which given my relatively low BMI is a lot. Trying to eat but my suppression has been huge. All very weird. Bleeding barely noticeable but enough to know it's atypical for me. Will feedback to supplier or GP. 👍
