Turnaround time on new orders?

I've just placed my first order for Mounjaro today and was surprised that the earliest I can have a consultation about it is 3rd June. So they'll be sitting on my money for the best part of a month before I can actually get started.

Does anyone know if this is standard sort of lead time with all providers or if there are any who are offering a faster turnaround time?

No Livewell pharmacy did mine same working day and I had it next day. They even did a very thorough videocall. They were fantastic.

Do you mean a video consult? What pharmacy?

I've just changed suppliers on Wednesday this week and am getting my medication tomorrow. I had to upload photos and ID which I did yesterday and it was all approved today.

It's Medicine Marketplace which seemed to have good reviews but I'm surprised I can't get a video consult until next month.

And yes, sorry if I wasn't clear, it's a video consult that I can't get until June. I've given them all the other info they need

They have food reviews because they're cheapest at the higher doses, but they're also busy because they're cheapest 😂

There are several that are cheaper at the moment, including Zava who will ask for photos rather than a video consult. Probably some of the other ones will be photos rather than videos too. And I think they will be busy due to being consistently one of the cheaper providers, especially at the higher dose levels.

Thanks all, I wondered if all the news items about Mounjaro this week had also contributed. Will cancel with them and look elsewhere!

I switched to medicine marketplace, and they were very quick.
Just needed to send a video on the scales
Maybe it's different for new starters rather than switching, but i had my meds within a week including Easter bank holiday weekend

I switched this week to simple online pharmacy, I enquired about their price match policy & they were really quick with the replies. They matched medicine marketplace for the pen cost but their postage was £6 cheaper! So only £139 for the 15mg. Uploaded photos and it was processed that day, received pen the day after.

They'll price match 3 pens to medicine marketplace btw so 3 x 15mg for £405 and £4 postage.

They're not the best for maintenance though by the looks of it.

@Mumconnect i asked about maintenance in the emails about price matching. They said they would get the pharmacist to email or call me. Do you know their cut off?

It's standard. They need a pharmacist to talk to you about maintenance on a case by case basis.

I'm with medicine marketplace, the initial process took longer than I thought it would but was quicker than you have been quoted (think i applied on the Tuesday, had my consult over a week later on the Friday but they did then despatch same day), they have been fine since though - just recieved my third pen from them.
