Poll: First month, slowest week?

For me it was week 3 and I have a vague recollection of a discussion on these boards (back in April/May) last year that week 3 was the lowest weight loss week for most peopkd.

It rings true, in weeks 1 and 2 I saw rapid weightloss then week 3 was the week my body began rebalancing itself.

Hmm, interesting. It was week 3 for me too but at the time I put it down to it coinciding with a milestone birthday for DH and therefore a feast and some wine at a very nice restaurant. It was late in the week, the food was amazing and suppression was low so I threw caution to the wind a bit.

Week 3 for me as well, but it’s been consistent from week 3 onwards, I’m currently on week 34 and average 2.2 lbs a week. I didn’t have a huge loss week one and two but I’d been trying to lose some weight before starting MJ so it wasn’t a big loss of water weight. I’m still in awe of what it’s doing!

My first 4 week's losses were -9, -2, -7, -3. At the beginning it was often in this pattern of larger loss followed by smaller loss, or no loss. After a few months it has settled down into a much more steady pattern of a couple of pounds a week give or take a little.

For anyone looking at those losses, they are not typical or expected in the first month by any means. I had an immediate response to the medication, felt suppression from the first day and changed my eating habits radically from the processed carbs/fats/sugar bingeing crap that I was eating. I was also BMI 50 at the start, and had a lot of water retention and swelling in the lower legs/feet which went away really quickly.
