Mounjaro side effects - normal?

Hi, just looking for some reassurance really. I started on 2.5 last week on a Wednesday, all fine only side effect was the sulphur burps on the second day. This week, I’ve injected on the weds and felt tired thurs and fri and then very loud tummy gurgling and cramping fri night. Woke up to diarrhoea Saturday and had that all day and night, so stayed in bed.

there was a moment during the night where I felt so weak I thought I was going to pass out. I’ve had dioralyte and water and some fruit and toast to eat. Also had some chips yesterday which was a bad call. But can’t seem to stomach much else.

ive been in bed all today with some diarrhoea although less than yesterday but I just feel atrocious with no energy and tummy cramping. Just got up to shower and had shortness of breath.

did anyone else have this experience? I know diarrhoea is a common side effect but I’ve never had diarrhoea like this, it’s completely wiped me out. Maybe it’s due to the reduced food intake? Will it get better or is this a sign mounjaro is not for me?

Oh that’s a shame and I’m sorry you feel so poorly. I’ve not had these side effects but I hope someone here can put your mind at ease. I’ve had a couple of “quick need the toilet moments” and they’re pretty regular (2-3 times a week) but nothing that would keep me
bed bound or feeling weak

I did have very bad diarrhoea in the first week and felt pretty awful. It didn’t recur in week 2 but did happen again when I tried to increase to 5mg. I never managed to tolerate 5mg. Some people are very sensitive to it and you need to build up tolerance. Avoid anything sugary or high in fat. Do you think you ate anything in particular which set it off?
