Injecting when had a drink

I'm on week 5, just gone up to 5mg.
Injected before bed as usual, but suddenly worried cos I've had a few drinks (I mean A FEW ++)
Is this going to bring on side effects do we think?
Really paranoid now - I've been really lucky so far and not had much to deal with. Am I about to be in the bathroom for the weekend???

Read the leaflet in the box, if it’s a potential risk or there’s anything you need to do differently around alcohol it will explain

I've drunk on 2.5 with no effects, but never on injextion day and it's a dose up which is why I'm now worried.

If there’s no warnings in the box then nothing of particular concern is going to happen

I get that, but I've read as lot of people's experiences that aren't necessarily listed on the box...

I will be honest, i drank sugary cocktails like a right melon and genuinely thought i was dying the next day. Had to use dibdab sherbet as a fast sugar source or i was dangerously close to needing 999

In my experience - no effects after a drink on jab day.

But everyone gets wildly different side effects. It's so hard to predict or advise.

I'm 8 jabs in and alcohol isn't as fun anymore so my post work wind down wine goes down slowly these days!

I had really bad indigestion and sulphur burps after only one drink the night before. The whole bloody point of using these injections is to change your habits. Don't fuck around with things like this. It's incredible we've had this opportunity to use these drugs so you have to play your part and making them work as well.

I've had a few drinks on injection days and there's been no dramatic difference with side effects.

You don't need to avoid alcohol completely as it is not contradicted with Mounjaro, was it a special occasion or is getting pissed on a 'school night' a common occurrence?

I have to say, I wouldn't be as brave enough to actually do the injection while drunk, I'd probably do something wrong or decide to inject in my thumb for a laugh! 🤣

You could be a bit rougher than usual, each persons responses a mix of medication and alcohol will be different. I would try to focus on hydration today!

Hope you’re feeling alright this morning @SylviaPsyoplath?? I actually drank half a bottle of wine before my first ever jab to get up the courage to do it! 😂

I have had a few glasses of wine then injected later, before bed, on a few occasions with no issues whatsoever.

No issues for me. Hope you are OK?

There is no interaction with alcohol at all.

All good so far (apart from a few judgy comments here of course 🙄🙄)

I jab on a Friday night, so it's often after a couple of wines. I've not noticed any difference in side effects if I've jabbed completely sober or a bit tipsy.

I did this once, no adverse effects, was only on 2.5 at the time though.
