Can I use this batch?

I received a 7.5mg in January which has been kept in the fridge since and has a expiry of September 2025. Plan was to stay on 5mg but I am not having results on this dose. Can I use this?

Yes, you can. As long as it hasn't frozen.

That’s what I thought. I’m sure I read somewhere you’re not meant to use if it’s been past 30 days or something but it’s in date and has been kept refrigerated

@chamberay There are two parts to the instructions for expiration of the pens in the patient information leaflet.

The first is about unused pens - these must be kept in the fridge, and will last until the expiration date printed on it.

The second is about used pens - once you have done the first dose from a pen, you can choose to keep it out of the fridge, or keep it in the fridge if you prefer. Either way, once a pen is used it then must be discarded after 30 days.

Have a re-read of the patient information leaflet, and you'll see it explained there.

Ah that makes sense, thank you. It’s unused as I was hesitant to take 7.5 but weirdly I’ve had little suppression on 5 compared to 2.5
