I started with Mounjaro on Friday, and forgot all about a planned endoscopy which I have next Sunday.

I’ve read that before sedation it’s recommended to stop for a week beforehand, so there is no interaction. I’m due to take my second dose on Friday. I guess if I just wait until Sunday afternoon, when I get home from my procedure, and take it then, that should be fine?

You really need to tell your endoscopy team as soon as possible you are now on Mounjaro so they can consider if it will impact the procedure. Don't rely on what you have read elsewhere.

As you will be aware Mounjaro slows stomach emptying and this can be quite significant when first starting Mounjaro, especially significant for an endoscopy procedure.

They might extend your fasting instructions prior to the procedure to ensure your stomach is fully empty. There is also the aspiration risk.
