Extra dose Mounjaro

Just after a quick advice, I bought extra insulin needles (proper supplier) and went to extract 0.6ml of my 2.5 pen. However when I did it I couldn’t get rid of bubble in the syringe - I think because you are pulling against the plunger in the pen.

has anyone had this? I’ve discarded the extra dose as I wasted loads trying to remove the bubble urgh. Any tips!? For next time.

I just extract as much as I can, with the last dose then prime as usual, flick syringe until bubble rises to top then push it out until measuring 0.6ml (or whatever dose you are taking)

Any tiny bubbles that don’t shift are not a problem for subcutaneous injections,

Bubbles can be dangerous in intravenous injections. It won't matter for a subcutaneous.

You don't need to worry about bubbles, push the plunger gently to the top to remove any large bubbles then go for it. I've done 6 bonus doses so far so that's saving 1.5 pens £200-250, it's worth doing it.
