I feel your disappointment.. I’ve felt it this week too.
I’ve had some lovely supportive messages from the good people on here.
The things that have helped me are to remember that this is a long (ish) term process and the first one is really just to get your body used to the medication.
it takes time to gain weight and so takes time to lose it.i hated it when my old slimming world coach said this, but they were right!
You have already done the hardest and most important bit … making the decision to lose weight for your health and wellbeing, you should be really proud of that.
and .. it’s a loss! .. it’s not feeling like a WOW loss right now, but you have lost those pounds and that’s an achievement!
non scale victories are important too. you are experiencing positive appetite changes, you are drinking loads of water and exercising… these are wonderful things for your body.
someone asked if I took measurements and I didn’t (wish I had) as we don’t always see the scales moving but our bodies may be changing … feeling less bloated, Clothes fitting a bit better etc.
if may be that you get the WOW losses when you move to 5ml. You may not have had much ‘water weight’ to lose so don’t get an initial whoosh.
but mainly, I want to say that you are working hard and you are getting there. This is a process and you have started it,This is brilliant!
We are all here for you and I’m sending you supportive hugs 🙂
