Hi I’m a new starter & have my pen ready to do my first injection tonight. I’m very worried but know that I can’t carry on how I am. I’m 16st 4 & 5 ft 7.
What I’m worried about most is that if I don’t eat will I get migraines ? I usually get them quite bad, where I can’t see, numbness, etc and usually mean a day or two in bed. I usually get them when I’ve not been eating / missing meals & doing too much. Is anyone like me who suffers from really bad migraines on Mounjaro ? Thanks

I have chronic migraines ( about 15 a month )
and was incredibly worried before I started as skipping a meal is a huge trigger for me .
Id always need feeding every 4 hours or one could set in , knowing if I got that hunger pang it would set a migraine off.

I’ve been on it a few weeks and am 20lb down with no increase in migraines . I think as the body is sending the hunger message less often that I’m getting away with it . I’m also being careful to eat still even when I have to force it down due to suppression.
Ive not had any side effects either .

Oh thanks for your reply - that does promising. I’m going to give it a go. If I end up getting more migraines I’ll stop. Do you mind me asking what you eat every four hours ? Do you have small protein snacks ?

My migraines have massively reduced on MJ.
From one a week to less than one a month - I actually had 3 months with no migraines at all which was totally amazing but recent stress has brought them back.

I think it's my hormonal caused migraines that it's got rid of presumably due to the anti inflammatory effect.

I hope yours go too! (& you shouldn't be not eating the goal is reduced calorie but high nutrition)

My migraines have also improved on mj! I get a simple headache usually on jab day, especially if I do not drink enough. But overall, my migraines, especially the bad ones, have massively improved.

My migraines have also improved since starting MJ. I'm careful not to skip a meal (even if I only eat an apple) and I drink 4-6 litres of water a day as dehydration can be a trigger for me when it's hot and I am SO much thirstier on MJ. In 10 weeks I've had 4, compared to the same time frame last year when I had 27.
