@Timetochange24 hormones are the pits!! I had the worst periods due to endometriosis and it was never ending even through peri menopause. Now I'm on HRT and continuous progesterone and I'm loving not having any periods! Xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/05/2025 16:08

So I would do 10 for you two sklinkies

OP posts:
20bloodypounds · 01/05/2025 17:11

So... I went on holiday, injected the day I left (5mg) and then nothing for 2.5 weeks. It all felt OK and didn't feel particularly hungry until last 2 days. Long day travelling home and I think I ate everything that was given to me on the plane (and more in the airport transit lounge) Blush And not enough water.

But... I've come home minus 4 lbs. Delighted with that. I need to consolidate the loss by being extra vigilant.

I've injected 2.5mg today and will increase over the next couple of weeks back up to 5mg.

Everyone is looking so good in their photos. What amazing progress. IMagine if we could see the positive progress for our hearts, lungs, metabolism - that would look similalry fantastic.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/05/2025 17:34

4lb loss is amazing esp after holiday / well done @20bloodypounds

Looking good @Blondeshavemorefun - we do seem to have similar body shapes/statistics.

@20bloodypounds well done on the holiday loss. I'm on day 2 of mine and starving.

Aww thanks! I am 8/10 now, depending on where I buy from

Azuresky68 · 01/05/2025 19:53

@20bloodypounds fantastic loss, especially with no jab and on holiday too!

Azuresky68 · 01/05/2025 19:58

@Blondeshavemorefun I can't decide on a colour for the dress! Thinking maybe purple but tempted by bright pink Zebra print but they don't show a photo of that one. There are some others popping up with nice patterns too. Just wondering if I need to wear a bra!

weaselyeyes · 01/05/2025 20:46

Good luck for tomorrow @Azuresky68!

Great pictures @Blondeshavemorefun - especially the difference in the side profile one.

And 4lb off on holiday @20bloodypounds - that's amazing! I'm a bit anxious at the thought of going on holiday. My past pattern was always to look at myself in January, weep, diet strictly until I went on holiday and lose several stone, relax on holiday, put a few pounds on (which would have been fine if I'd got back on the dieting horse when I got home), but then spiral into overeating until Christmas. Rinse and repeat. I'm away for a week in June and I'm desperate to avoid doing this without turning myself into a neurotic arse in the meantime (always tricky). I'm so impressed you've sidestepped this one!

NippyNinjaCrab · 01/05/2025 20:54

@Blondeshavemorefun I've ordered 2 x size 14 lol, I'm definitely not sklinky, that can be our word for the thread haha.

thanks @weaselyeyes
as I said I don’t think the frontal one shows much change but the side one does. Wow

never really look at me via the side as most of prob don’t

sounds like me @weaselyeyes holiday mode as well. We prob all did that

@NippyNinjaCrab I think you would easily fit in a 12

was meant to be kinky slinky’s but iphone mixed them up

OP posts:
Timetochange24 · 01/05/2025 22:41

@Blondeshavemorefun your side on picture shows such a huge change. I know you don't think people will notice but they see you in 3d, they will have seen it.

@Azuresky68 good luck for tomorrow 🤞

@owlyboo it's really tough at times isn't it? You've done amazingly to get to this point while you're also trying to keep your son in balance and to deal with the days when he's not. Are there any support groups that you can connect with local to you that would help give you that IRL listening ear to take the place of MJ as you taper off?

Timetochange24 · 01/05/2025 22:44

@Blondeshavemorefun I'd love to be a sklinky but I'm still more a skwishy middle. Part of me wants to keep going to get to that bmi 22, but the rest of me thinks this is probably just me. I've never been slender but I'm strong enough to heave big stuff around.

Azuresky68 · 01/05/2025 22:56

@Blondeshavemorefun wow! So many dresses 👗👗👗👗

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/05/2025 02:11

@Timetochange24 this is it. People see what we don’t. Or what I def don’t lol

Azuresky68 · 02/05/2025 07:29

Good morning everyone. Weighed in at 9 stone despite fasting yesterday since 1 pm. My goal is 8 stone 7 pounds.
Worried this is going to be my future...always worried about what I eat and drink, always on MJ and never quite getting there. I know I look fine at 9 stone but it was so easy to gain 2 pounds over last month. I am happy with how I look for my age despite the wrinkles, bags and sags. I have never had the perfect body so it's not going to happen now 🤣🤣
Story so far recently:
Still on 10 mg. On 4th April I got down to 8 stone 12. My goal is 8 stone 7 pounds.
Today, nearly a month later, including 12 days off plan on holiday I weigh 9 stone.
9 stone 25.4 BMI - classed as overweight! According to NHS BMI calculator my target weight should be between 6 stone 8 pounds to 8 stone 11 pounds (BMI 24.9) I only want to get to another half stone to be 8 stone 7 pounds and stay there with some wriggle room. Feel like I will have to stay on MJ for ever and don't even get great suppression on 10 mg but definitely less food noise. Highest I went up to was 12.5 mg
Good luck to all the Friday WWJ xx

@Timetochange24 can I ask what BMI are you now? Are you in the same boat as me aiming to get down to somewhere you haven't been before in recent years? I haven't been 22 BMI for over 40 years and only stayed there for a few months. As always I was on a diet then and still am now 😢

owlyboo · 02/05/2025 08:08

@Azuresky68if you’d like to lose the last 7lbs maybe move up if you’re not feeling great suppression? But equally if you’re happy with how you look/feel then don’t worry about the goal? Good luck today!

I’ve lost 2lbs this week taking me officially to 5 and a half stone! Now weighing in at 10 stone 3 which feels crazy as my original target was 11 stone. But definitely happy with the wiggle room on bmi. Currently at 23.1..

Good luck to all the weighers today!
