Where do people store their pens? I have always left them in the fridge but I’m then left waiting thirty minutes to use it each week so it warms up. After nearly a year I’m wondering if I switch to cupboard?

Fridge till open it. Then bedroom so can WWJ

Mine are in my wardrobe. They’re in an insulated bag and I pop a cool pack in when I think about it, but not in the fridge at all. I also use them way past the 30 days too….no adverse effects 10 months in…

Redlightbulb · 06/06/2025 20:48

Store mine in the fridge & inject straight from fridge.

NippyNinjaCrab · 06/06/2025 21:51

Well done @4pink1blue can I ask what you eat please - maybe do 2/3 days melas for me if you don’t mind

I’m struggling what to eat recently

I’m not sure if mj is making me not want sone foods

I seem to live off mice eggs chicken jacket /rice /pasta tuna and the prawn bags from Aldi

I look in my freezer and think hmmm don’t want that to many things

I’m too scared to try without as was on top pen x 4/5 I think but am reducing

8s is amazing tho models aren’t average people lol tho equally you have list an @Azuresky68

@Azuresky68 I hope the weather is better for you then us. Blondesland it’s pissing down today /tom and sun

@FurForksSake is anything the mj has prob helped your hips. I know it has mine - well I think it has

sorry in pain 💐

@Blondeshavemorefun I can't only quote the bit where you say models aren't average people but I was thinking this week about the whole size 0 body image a lot of us will have been conditioned to think is achievable/desirable/healthy.

Dd is a very, very small 11 - smallest in her class by a long way - and her new school skirt Is 24" waist. American Size 0 is 24 to 26". Actual child-sized. I know some adults naturally are that size, but getting that measurement for the skirt really reinforced how unachievable size 0 is for most people who aren't children. I wish I'd believed that when I was 15 and 20 and 25 and 30 instead of spending so many years thinking that was the size I was meant to be.

Blondeshavemorefun · 06/06/2025 22:18

The perfect body or was it Barbie was 36 24 36

I have the boobs 36 😂

8s seems so slim and tiny to me yet @Azuresky68 and some others are 8 s ish

Weepixie · 07/06/2025 02:48

@poppym12 Thank you for the kind comments. Maybe if I was on holiday where no one knew me I'd wear a skirt like that. Truth is, I've left the house twice in 2 weeks so not much call for any clothes really

Poppy, are you ok? I only ask because there have been times when I’ve not been ok and I didn’t go out much at all. And I don’t mean out to socialise for eg, I really just didn’t go out unless I absolutely had to. But then there have been many times with my boy for eg, where I genuinely couldn’t go out and if you are okay I’m sorry if I was wrong to ask.

I hope you’re ok.

Usernamechangeforthis12 · 07/06/2025 15:34

@Azuresky68 I’m 5’5” - is the wedding today? Have an amazing day and a wonderful holiday.

Many years ago when I first hit size 16 I bought 3 pairs of cheap skinny jeans in sizes 14, 12 and 10 as an incentive to lose weight! I’ve just found the 10s in the loft and they fit!

Not only that, but I found an old vintage 70s dress I bought when I was a student. I bought it in the early 90s and used to wear it clubbing. It only bloody fits me! (Not that I’d ever wear it but I’m so shocked!)

And yesterday I wore a floaty shirt that I nearly threw out last year because it was no longer floaty but skin tight! I must’ve lost 12 inches from my bust.

The last stone took me 3 months to lose and most came off my bust, dropping down a couple of cup sizes.

I really need to tone my arms and legs so if any one has some tips…..please share.

I’m going to be brave and post photos.

About a year ago I went to put the pink trousers on and although I could just about do them up, they were severely stretched and skin tight on the legs!

The others are a before - my sign up photo at 14st4.
The size 10 goal jeans and my clubbing dress from age 19!!

@Blondeshavemorefun I had a good wardrobe/loft clearout a couple of weeks ago - some of the stuff still had the tags on. Didn't fit when I bought it and now I don't know what I was thinking 😂 I thought I'd got some good stuff in there but it went straight onto Vinted. At least that means I've got space in the cupboard to start from scratch.

poppym12 · 07/06/2025 19:30

I'm ok @Weepixie, thank you for asking about me. I have ME and was hoping that losing a good chunk of weight would help me to feel more energetic and capable of doing more than just existing. It hasn't (yet) but I'm still hopeful.

morbidcuriosity · 07/06/2025 19:34

So I did another pic as a few more pounds off.. each pound is much harder now, but each pound brings new shape.. 7 more to go..

Xxl shorts to medium shorts..

FurForksSake · 07/06/2025 20:05

That’s a big difference! Well done @morbidcuriosityI agree, last pounds make a big difference.

I’m basically buying brand new wardrobe

with the view if clothes get too tight I need to cut down and lose the 3/4/5lbs before ends up being 4/5/6s gain

Mother of the bride yesterday! It was an amazing event. No full length photos but I will post a final before and after when I get back to my target weight after my holiday. I know the day wasn't about me but I got so many lovely compliments from a lot of people..no negatives at all. MJ is a game changer after a life long struggle with my weight. Next month I will be celebrating being a normal weight 69 year old!!

Mounjuro Auggies Thread 14
WorriedRelative · 08/06/2025 12:02

Hello everyone, hope you are all OK!

Sorry I have been AWOL again. Still plugging away with the MJ, and a "normal" BMI is tantalisingly close now, I got 25.9 on my last weigh in.

Loving everyone's photos, you all look great! I am enjoying sorting the wardrobe, selling things on vinted and buying smaller.

I stayed on 10mg for quite a while but just took 12mg as my bonus as things seemed to have slowed right down. So will probably use the 12.5mg pen that has been in the fridge for ages. Not sure exactly where goal is yet, probably about another stone below where I am so probably two pens before maintenance starts, which will be pretty much exactly a year. Longer than I expected it to take but not by much.

Who else isn't at maintenance yet?

poppym12 · 08/06/2025 12:14

You look fabulous @Azuresky68. I hope everyone had a great day.

I'm still plodding along @WorriedRelative. Probably another stone to go BMI wise but I'm ok with how my clothes are fitting at the moment.

Hi Poppy, I’m glad you’re Ok and I’m sorry you’re living with ME. I don’t really know anything about it, apart from the fact it’s a chronic illness and is debilitating. I think we’re all really keen to get onto the next stage of life but frankly I’m going to need a recovery period from the last 9 months which have been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself, but have also been gruelling. I’m exhausted and I’m a healthy 67 years so goodness knows how any person of any age could be feeling after this journey if they have illness to contend with as well as Mounjaro. I hope maybe 6 months from now you’ll be feeling better, you’ll have had time to recover from not as much nutrition as you needed as well as rapid weight loss and a weekly medication to boot. It’s enough to knock anyone for 6 and I’m now looking at my experience not with a start, and then an when I get to target but also with a middle when I recover from the experience before getting to an end much later this year when I’m over it all physically.

I hope you get some good days very soon and that you can enjoy whatever summer the UK may get. 💐
