@poppym12 I hope you get some reassurance about your eye from a medical person so that you aren't needing to worry. Let us know how you get on x

owlyboo · 30/05/2025 09:22

@NippyNinjaCrabi find dark denim is always much smaller than light. Especially black!

ah glad the graduation went well @Weepixie☺️

that’s nice he said you was proud of you @Azuresky68

no idea about eyes @poppym12did they mention any next steps? Could also mention MJ when you go back?

well done on 2lbs @Blondeshavemorefun

hope everyone has a nice Friday!

Arraminta · 30/05/2025 09:46

Feeling a bit down this morning. Bumped into an old work colleague yesterday who commented on my weight loss by exclaiming 'You look like you've been really ill'. Which was nice.

Honestly, I'd much rather people didn't say anything rather than come out with statements like this. My BMI is 22.2 so I'm very far from being underweight!

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/05/2025 10:01

How rude @Arraminta. I usually get you look well. Some do say wow you’ve lost weight esp if haven’t seen me for 6mths

think you posted a pic and you looked slim but fine

thanks @owlyboo and @Azuresky68

@Blondeshavemorefun will post a photo from the day. It's a big event in a lovely venue but not a church. Its more like a min festival. Not a traditional wedding at all! DJ's, pizza van, not even sure if they are having a cake. The official legal bit already done. They have organised and paid for everything for themselves and done it on a tight budget.I have been to a wedding in the venue before and it was amazing!

SilverSprings510 · 30/05/2025 17:50

Well I’m home from holiday. Will weigh tomorrow and hoping for a sts - I actually deserve a loss as I’ve done loads of exercise and eaten well within my cals. But also been rather blocked up 💩 so we will see. It’s my birthday tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

One of us mentioned having a few funny turns/low blood sugar moments. It happened to me today. It’s been nearly 2 weeks since I last jabbed so not sure it’s the MJ. But I went all lightheaded and had to put my head down when I was at the nail salon. Mortifying!! They gave me a biscuit and a coke. So embarrassed - I really like that nail place too so I’m hoping they forget me so I can go back 🤦🏻‍♀️

Azuresky68 · 30/05/2025 20:17

@SilverSprings510 hope you had a great holiday and manage to stay the same. It was me that had two funny turns. Honestly don't feel embarrassed...beauty therapists are all about helping people feel good and have seen/heard it all. Take care x

Azuresky68 · 30/05/2025 20:21

Happy birthday for tomorrow @SilverSprings510 Where did you go on holiday?

WitchDancer · 30/05/2025 21:31

Happy birthday for tomorrow @SilverSprings510CakeFlowers

SilverSprings510 · 30/05/2025 21:42

@Azuresky68 gosh, it was just so strange! I just had to say I’m sorry could I have a drink please as I don’t feel very well! Anyway, I’m feeling much better now!

We’ve been to centerparcs this week with DS. He loved it, but not super relaxing I must say!

Thanks for birthday wishes 🫶🏼

Azuresky68 · 30/05/2025 22:40

@SilverSprings510 Oh my goodness..I went to Centerparcs when my children were little...it was exhausting!

That's horrid, some people are just bloody awful and hard of thinking as default 😒
I had someone in the office this week say 'Fuck me, where's the rest of you' - much more preferable!

PoemsForTea · 31/05/2025 15:40

@Azuresky68Sounds like a fab celebration

PoemsForTea · 31/05/2025 15:41

@Blondeshavemorefun2lb -brilliant!!

PoemsForTea · 31/05/2025 15:45

Bit discombobulated with life today so sewing is a great distraction. Made some bags from my charity shop bargain bin stash 😄
Kids aged 9-10 Jeans are perfect - and 25p well spent 😆

Helllooo everyone sorry I’m not great at posting but just been catching up

@Arramintawhat and arse!! I’m furious on your behalf 😡
@SilverSprings510i hope you had a lovely holiday and a great birthday
@Blondeshavemorefun that’s a great loss you must be chuffed!

Im away on holiday in the sun at the moment. I posted ages ago about swim wear saying I still didnt feel happy in a bikini as my tummy isn’t exactly perky. I bought tankinis as suggested and a couple of one pieces. I chucked an old bikini in too as we have a private pool with our room in the hotel so I thought if I was just here with the kids I could put it on.
Well on day one I had an epiphany…. No one cares. They really don’t! no one gives a shiny shite about my belly! So I’ve worn the bikini. Every day. I’m going to be sick of it by the end of this holiday 😆😆 but I will have a nice brown tummy (saggy or not!)

troppibambini6 · 31/05/2025 16:19

Oh wow @PoemsForTeathe WiFi is rubbish and I couldn’t see you photos they are amazing! You are very talented!

Azuresky68 · 31/05/2025 16:28

@troppibambini6 so glad you overcame the fear of wearing a bikini. About 10 years ago I spent a lot of time in Spain. Over there lots Spanish women of aĺl ages and sizes wear a bikini so I happily started wearing them for the first time in my life. When I felt awful about my body last year I bought a very expensive tankini from Bravissimo..£85! Never ging to wear it again, especially as I have lost 11 inches off my waist!

Absolutely lovely!

Azuresky68 · 31/05/2025 16:31

@troppibambini6 where did you go on holiday? I fancy a change from where we usually go.

troppibambini6 · 31/05/2025 16:37

@Azuresky68we spend every summer in Spain and you are so right! It’s gets so hot in a one piece too!! Before the kids I always wore a bikini despite never really having a flat tummy even when slim so it’s nice to be back in one. I’m 47, had lots of kids and have lost 4.5 stone realistically I’m not going to look the same as in my 20’s 😆😆

We are in Crete. First time I’ve been here and it’s been lovely we have the 3 younger kids with us and are in an AI. It’s amazing for kids we’ve hardly seen them. Me and dh have to actually talk to each other 😆

troppibambini6 · 31/05/2025 16:38

@Azuresky68absolutely get rid of it!! 11 inches is amazing!!!
