@Blondeshavemorefun well done on sales! So far sold 9 items and got about £20. I don't know how to do bundles? Also never sold on Ebay.. is it easy? A jacket that suggested price on Vinted is £10 is going for £38 - £50 on Ebay!

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2025 20:42

Thanks @wohmum and well done you getting into 12 jeans (green eyes flashing) 😂 and to a Healthy bmi 🌟🌟

@morbidcuriosityyes for a maintenance call - I have no idea which plan but guess to stay and reduce

I’m lb off being into healthy bmi but 6 to what I would ideally like to weigh

have messages number to you

@FurForksSake no I’m def 5/7

@Azuresky68ive made 2 more - Sunday afternoon is the way to go for selling 😂

bundles as in 4/5 items under one post

so I take a pic of of 4. To show 4. I put on title 4 x dresses /tops etx then add a pic single of each. So 5 in all

seem to have worked as sold another 4 dresses for £10. So £2.50 each. They have a bloody bargain tbh !!!

ebay is easy and similar to Vinted but you put a starting price and people bid so may go for 99p or May go for £5 etx - but you can have a reserve price or start from £20 etx

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2025 22:48

Omg. Just sold another 3 tops. 3 for £5. Maybe I am doing them too cheap

but most say £1 or £1.50 and not selling

tho getting 3 for one postage is the way to sell

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2025 22:50

But feel good clearing out my drawers so my new smaller tops/clothes will go in them

Azuresky68 · 19/05/2025 08:20

@Blondeshavemorefun Thanks and well done on sales. Most things are a bargain on Vinted aren't they? When uploading there's a suggested price which is what I have gone by. Will bundle up a few tops.

Azuresky68 · 19/05/2025 08:25

@Blondeshavemorefun Amazing! You are only 1 pound off top of healthy BMI...that's the same as me! And like you I want to go a few more pounds down.to BMI 24. Some on here are going down to 22 but I couldn't do it. Hope you find maintenance call useful. Can't believe I had mone in December and I am not at my maintenance weight yet!

Azuresky68 · 19/05/2025 08:28

Just another thought re maintenance. If they are only accepting you now if only 4 pounds to go then what about setting a goal then revising vote like I did? So my original goal was 9 stone but after maintenance call I revised it by 7 pounds. Back in December they didn't have the 4 pound rule as maintenance plans were fairly new.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/05/2025 09:19

I def couldn’t get to 22/23

10.7 is 23 bmi. I got to 10.10 via ww and lost 4st but couldn’t keep it there - from 15s.

Went back to 11 and was ok for a while then obv overate etx. Put the 4s back on and another 2s so 6s in all 🙀😳

I’m on /reading a thread about maintaining. A few posters are very rude lol

but I plan if I come off to weight weekly. If I gain 3/4lbs to cut down /be good for a couple of weeks

I said just easier to lose 3/4lbs then 4/6s

the reply I got was rude imo !!

yes hopefully maintenance call will be good

i feel I need to get to 11s and go from there but that could be another 6w if a lb a week. Could be longer if sts

but was worried as lb will mean a healthy bmi and I wanted to get my foot in the door for maintenance

i don’t want to be on this forever - can’t afford to tbh - but if work down and was on say 5 for a while - then what would the cost me with their 15% and free p&p. That’s saving £7 at once so seems a good deal Ans guessing be around £120 a month so £30 a week when look at it like that

@Azuresky68 you will get to your gaol weight but orginally it was 9s so maybe that’s that’s where your body wants to be

you look amazing

Morning all. It’s wonderful to see so many scale and none scale victories, plus all the pictures.

To put a downer on things, I am going to have to come off MJ for financial reasons. My husband and I are splitting up and there’s no way I can afford to pay out £200 a month Sad

So, do I go cold turkey, or do I try to go lower on my doses that I have and go beyond the best before date, or do I have one last blow out and buy the doses to go back down through the doses on my credit card and hope I can pay it off somehow later?

Scary times ahead for sure, but I can’t do anything until my kids have finished their exams in June, so I’ve got a bit of time to pull things together.

Weepixie · 19/05/2025 10:25

@WitchDancer Im sorry to hear that you and your husband are splitting up and even if it’s something you’ve instigated or are happy about it must still be a very sad time for you. How are you? Seriously - how are you?

Re your Mounjaro - how far away from goal are you?

Do I think you should do everything you can to stay on it a while longer? Yes. I absolutely do. Now isn’t the time to be letting/risking all your hard work going to waste because of what you’re currently going through. Hell, I’d even stand you a pen if it comes to you having to stop Mounjaro before you actually want to.

WitchDancer · 19/05/2025 10:37

@Weepixiethank you, that means an awful lot. How am I? Numb I think is the best way to describe it. It’s come from me but I think reality is kicking in, mainly because I’m trying to come up with the practicalities and doing the right thing by everyone. I’ve got a lot of real life support, so I’ll be ok.

I’m still 2 stone off target, so some way to go yet. I’m definitely a slow looser, however when I get my own place I will have a lot more control over my food and will be able to go out for a walk without guilt. Will MJ make things easier, yes, but I feel quite positive about going it alone as it were.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/05/2025 10:40

((Hugs)) @WitchDancer. I know how you feel

from what I have read going cold turkey is bad as body gets hungry quickly

I would lower doses and maybe do every other week or a half dose so the pen lasts longer

mine has been on a cc but paying it off each time so kinda paying it off weekly over the 5w

if you can afford it I really would stay on it a bit longer

remind me how much you need to lose

@Blondeshavemorefunthank you. Cold turkey doesn’t sound good at all, thank you for that information. So I guess a slow withdrawal is the way to go then.

owlyboo · 19/05/2025 12:48

Sorry to hear that @WitchDancerFlowers

WitchDancer · 19/05/2025 13:08

Thanks @owlyboo

@Blondeshavemorefun

Are you still with IQ doctor?
I have been tempted by the prices of Medicine Market Place. Next time I order a pen I am going to see if they will price match
I have nearly 2 stone to go to get into the overweight range so don't have to worry about maintenance for a while.
I possibly might move to one of the better regarded maintenance friendly providers (Ouskh, Pharmulous etc) before going below 30 but I hear they will take you on below 30 providing you can provide evidence of previous jabs so maybe I shouldn't worry.
I like to try and get the most value I can with this jab so I am more following the price as long as the service is good.
For example maybe in maintenance be naughty and use a higher mg pen but take a lower dose so the pen lasts a big longer but some of the pharmacies may not like you doing that. I wouldn't do anything too extreme.

Weepixie · 19/05/2025 14:11

Just a quickie. This is a really good article and worth the pound I think it is to subscribe to the mail+. I just posted the link so you’d know what to look for but you won’t be able to open it sorry.

Oh and it tells of how stopping Munjaro suddenly causes sudden weight gain as was mentioned up above by Blondie. It also has loads of other info about coming of it.

I lost four stone on Mounjaro: What experts told me to keep it off www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-14724827/Mounjaro-IVF-hunger-supplement-Ozempic.html?ito=whatsapp_share_article-top

owlyboo · 19/05/2025 14:14

@WitchDancerin regards to MJ. I really wouldn’t put it on a credit card if you don’t have a clear way you’ll pay it off as that would be so stressful in an already stressful time. However I also wouldn’t stop cold turkey. I’ve came back down the doses and did 2 weeks at each dose but when I got to 5 I did start to feel the good noises etc coming back so I’ve stuck to 5 for a little longer. I’ve just don’t my third week. Think I’ll stick here for a couple of weeks then drop to 2.5.

how many pens/doses do you have left and what dosage are you on at the moment?

WitchDancer · 19/05/2025 14:29

Thank you @WeepixieI think I’ve learned enough to not go cold turkey!

@owlybooI’m on 15 and have got 2 more doses plus my bonus on this pen. So I could do 2 x 12.5 and 1 x 10 ish. I have got a 10 pen kicking around, so I could do something with that too. I wonder if that would be coming down too quickly, but I really don’t have much of a choice do I?

I don’t want to put it on my card if I can help it - I’m going to need the balance to get stuff to replace what I’m going to have to leave behind I think.

owlyboo · 19/05/2025 14:36

if you’ve got 10 kicking around then you’ll at least be able to come back down the doses in some way. Like I say I did it two weekly and was fine until I got to 5 then did start to feel some hunger etc. so thought I’d stick at 5 for a bit before going down again and coming off.

yeah divorce and separation is an expensive old time. As well as being obviously tough emotionally. But if it’s the right decision then you’ll be all the better for it once it’s all over and done with. I couldn’t imagine being with my ex husband now and can’t believe the shit I used to put up and allow him to dictate. The separation part was hard but you’ve got this I’m sure ☺️

Weepixie · 19/05/2025 15:09

Thank you @ Weepixie. I think I’ve learned enough to not go cold turkey!

No I’m now with Ousch

thi I did get a couple of pens via iq

I think they happily take below 30. I moved at think 28

but as I’m almost 25 I won’t move now and if they do 15% off and free postage that’s a good deal

I think you need to order every 8w so a smaller dose out of a higher pen may work

12w and back to 2.5 and some won’t take you on if bmi under 25 as tech not overweight

hence why don’t want to move now

same as @owlyboo last year was Shit but a lot better now. I’m a lot stronger and a lot lighter and he hates that !!
