In 8.5 months I've gone from buying oversized men's jumpers (to disguise my weight) to daring to buy this bright red midi dress I got it in a size 12!! Of course I don't look like the skinny model (will post a photo of me wearing it, if I can) but what an amazing difference. I can imagine myself floating elegantly in the evening sunshine hoping that no-one ever takes a photo of the dumpy elderly woman-in-red stomping along the prom

Morning, i love this dress! They did have lovely stuff in Tesco yesterday but the dresses I liked that were longer are too long for me ffs! That's a lovely red @20bloodypounds and your friend is a cheeky witch BTW i was annoyed on your behalf last night reading that xxx

WorriedRelative · 08/05/2025 08:06

Oh @poppym12I am sorry to hear that, rough when you are on holiday too.

Be kind to yourself, it doesn't matter if you fall off the diet wagon for a few days.

NippyNinjaCrab · 08/05/2025 08:07

PoemsForTea · 07/05/2025 20:41

I've been a bit stuck for a while so bought some size 14 Jeans in the charity shop for inspirational encouragement! They only fucking fit!! Excuse the gurning shocked face 😆

Awww @PoemsForTea you beauty in the jeans, your face looks like wtaf expression. It's an amazing feeling, we are all still in denial about sizes I think xxx

Azuresky68 · 08/05/2025 08:22

@poppym12 hi again my lovely. I have just seen your other posts. So sorry to hear about your friend, that will have been a horrible shock..sending big hugs.
Now about feeling a failure..I need to say to you what I keep saying to myself at the moment:
1 You have done so well..keep telling yourself that every day
2 Look at the difference between now and last August...keep looking and celebrate the difference
3 Don't give up...never give up
4 Be kind to yourself and love yourself for being you
5 There's nothing wrong with going off plan on holiday as long as you get back on plan when you get back to your routine as soon as possible
6 Keep posting on here about how you are feeling..don't bottle it up. We are all here to help eachother ❤️
I was 9 stone 7 in January and around 9 stone now. My plan was to get to 8 stone 7 and it still is BUT I have struggled massively and am scared of ruining it all. So I keep going back to those 6 points.
I don't know how you feel about missing a weigh in? Flying and eating carbs can retain fluid so I always try and wait a week after my holiday before weighing.
Take care and remember we are all here for you

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/05/2025 08:28

That’s nice @NippyNinjaCrab. Love red. I’ve ordered this in black if I like I will order in red as well

@poppym12 give yourself a wee break, the news has hit you hard and those few bits won't hurt. It's our automatic comfort go to and you need it, tight hugs 🫂
Xxx

NippyNinjaCrab · 08/05/2025 08:44

The red dress is pounds one, i love those dresses B. Yes get the red as it suits your colouring. Xx
@Arraminta re the bum, sometimes it looks not bad and other days it looks well empty like a wrinkly sack 😄 i could pull it up and clip it haha.
@FurForksSake everything you said totally resonates with me. Quite early on I noticed a difference when I was walking when the weight came off, I have osteoarthritis and was born with a dislocated hip. I was in plaster for a long time and I had that hip replaced in 2014, losing this weight 11 years later has relieved the pressure especially on the other hip which was going the same way. I have slight hypermobility not anywhere near yours, I'm sorry you can't exercise at the moment. The pain must be awful. Xx

Azuresky68 · 08/05/2025 08:45

Struggling a bit at the moment about which way to go on dose. I truly thought I would be 8 stone 7 by now but still around 9 stone. I am not giving myself a hard time about it though. Been signed up for maintenance for ages with Oushk which is great because you get maintenance codes. 15% plus free p&p
I went up to 12.5 mg then decided to start coming down as I only had 7 pounds to go and on 12.5 I could barely eat...currently on 10 mg but very little suppression. Last jab I did 10 extra clicks which seemed to help..plus I can't eat very well at the moment due to tooth problem!
I am going to email Hira from Oushk for advice.
My feeling is that to get rid of the pesky last half stone I might have to go all the way up to 15. The cost was putting me off but I think I am going to have to suck it up.
So the plan is:
1 Go up higher using my current 10 mg to see what works - so far only used 1 dose so at least 3 or 4 doses to go - won't mention this to Hira because they can't condone micro dosing
2 Possibly order a higher dose next time.
Have a great day everyone.

Hi Blondes...I have this dress in a bright blue. It's great for holidays. Mine was from Tik Tok shop and they only had it in blue there. Nice in black and red as well.

Azuresky68 · 08/05/2025 08:50

@20bloodypounds love the Tesco dress!

NippyNinjaCrab · 08/05/2025 08:53

@20bloodypounds when you log into your Oushk account and it says welcome back pounds, click on the Oushk heading/banner bit and at the next page scroll up a wee bit and it gives you the option of maintenance. I know that's not a great explanation 😂 xx I've added screenshots

Ps, Vinted, I think the cheaper the item the more questions they ask. I put my faithfull f&f dress on and I've had messages last night and this morning asking me to measuring various areas of the dress. Dh is laughing at me huffing and ffsking out with thw tape xx

Weepixie · 08/05/2025 09:36

@NippyNinjaCrab you see the questions and asking me to measure an item is where I’d forget I’m supposed to be a lady and I’d tell them to eff right aff yeh wee wanker. 🤪

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/05/2025 10:00

@Azuresky68 is it better for me to start maintenece if you get free p&p. As that’s £7. The most costly of all suppliers - plus if get 15% off as well

tbh think it’s £4 diff 12.5 to 15

I have similar in blue and was a xxxxl 🙀🙀🙀😳😳😳

Can I just say, I absolutely adore 'listening' to @Weepixieand @NippyNinjaCrabchatting in their Celtic dialects!

Azuresky68 · 08/05/2025 11:12

@Blondeshavemorefun just typed out the calculations for you and lost the bloody post!
Worked it all out based on your 15 mg dose.
Will have to do it later but if you are paying full price it's cheaper to use maintenance code. If there is a 20% discount code around then that slightly cheaper. Even if you are on maintenance you can still use any codes that pop up like the 20%.
I had my maintenance call ages ago last year but still not maintaining!
Probably worth booking your call anyway as I think there is a waiting list. But if you email them they sometimes fit you in. Will post calculations later

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/05/2025 14:37

@poppym12if you have used /opened pen then it’s fine to have on temp

i don’t keep mine in the fridge once opened

@Arraminta and @NippyNinjaCrab I have a flat floppy saggy bum

i can’t imagine ever showing it to a man again 🙀😢

F @Arraminta wow. I don’t R.E.M. seeing big boobs on you or have you not done a pic - can’t R.E.M. who hasn’t on here - we are getting braver

Omg @Arraminta you look amazing! I love that bikini too. You have lovely skin a really nice tan colour, (I'm not a weirdo 😂)
@poppym12 aw when I was on FB and lot and posted things my south of the border pals used to ask for a translation sometimes haha. I used to make up wee scenarios with the dogs if they were naughty and typed in slang Scots xx
@Weepixie don't set me off haha, tbf they have a been nice and not abrupt xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 08/05/2025 14:45

My 3rd I think 15 arrived today - ideally next pen be nice to start going down

Bonus dose Tom and start new 15 next Fri

so this gives me 5w to lose 10lbs - which is unlikely as prob won’t be able to lose 2lb every week

even if I stick to a 5/7.5 dose for a few months while making sure not gaining

OP posts:
Arraminta · 08/05/2025 14:55

Thank you for the lovely comments. It's a flattering angle though, and note I have carefully concealed my crisp packet arse!

I know I'm very late to the idea of a bonus dose, but now I'm maintaining long term I'd like to get more bang for my buck.

Which syringes do you order to extract the bonus dose please?

Azuresky68 · 08/05/2025 16:15

@Arraminta looking fabulous and love the bikini. I can't remember how much you have lost? Have you posted before and after photos? Well done 👏
