Wegovy

I lost 4 stone a few years ago and put it all back on within a year. I don’t think I’ve got it in me again to go through the hell that it took to get there in the first place. Perimenopause has zapped any motivation and energy I had. I have constant food noise and use food as a comforter and a reward. I was sceptical about weight loss injections but if it works to reduce the food noise, I think this might be the only option left to me.

It seems like most people are using Mounjaro but this reduces the effectiveness of the contraceptive pill so Wegovy seems the best option for me. My main worry is around the side effects. I work from home though so I can probably cope with some short term stomach upset. Has anyone got any experiences on Wegovy that they could share to reassure me please? There’s also so many options for suppliers, has anyone got any top tips for choosing one. Medexpress seem to be cheapest when you look at long term supplies but they don’t seem to have great reviews on here.

I’ve been on Wegovy for 2 years and have never had any side effects.

i used Quick Meds and then Asda as my providers to start with but found the deliveries unreliable. Now I use Boots, which is more expensive, but convenient as I can just go into the store to collect if.

Thanks, it’s good that you’ve had no side effects. There’s a lot of info out there about MJ but not so much about Wegovy, so it’s reassuring to hear from someone who’s still taking it. I’ve ordered from Farmeci now as they had a good discount. It feels like such a big step but I’ll try it and see how I get on.
