8 weeks off and starting back dose

For a few reasons - mostly money - I stopped my mounjaro journey at 15mg mid march. I need to start back as the food noise is terrible and I’m eating so much.

Medexpress say within 8 weeks I can stay at 15mg. This scares me a bit though starting back on the high dose.

has anyone had an 8 week break? What dose did you start back on?

I’m quite surprised they’ve said that it’s ok to start back at 15mg after an 8 week break. You likely won’t have any Mounjaro left in your system, so you’d be going straight up to the highest dose. A recent email I’ve had from Zava for example says “Please note: If it's been more than 2 weeks since your last injection, you'll need to start treatment again from the starter dose.”

I think I’d check that MedExpress have understood correctly, that it’s not just been 8 weeks since your last order of 15mg but also 8 weeks since you last injected.

To my understanding it 30 days to leave your system

Also you definitely need to go back to them

Thanks for replying. This is what they said in their email, I will email back and confirm it’s the actual last dose that was about 8 weeks ago!

If there is a 4-week gap between doses, you can move on to the next dose as planned.
If the gap is 8 weeks, you will need to order the same dose.
If there is a 12-week gap, you will need to start over with the process.

I'm almost certain they mean a gap in ordering and ordering a particular dose, rather than taking a specific dose and a gap in taking a specific dose.

No way.
You will feel so ill after 8 weeks & it would be dangerous. After 2 weeks off at 15 mg I reduced down to 10mg for 2 weeks, then 12.5 for the next 2 weeks. Then returned back to the 15mg dose. Each time I went up I really felt it.

I’ve had an almost 3 week break and just resumed 10mg dose on Wednesday but I’ve felt nothing. No suppression at all, it’s as though I’ve never had Mounjaro.
