Hi all,

I took my first dose of MJ last night. Woken up feeling exactly the same. Though I'm not entirely sure if that's normal? How long did it take for you to feel anything?

I suppose I just dont quite know what suppression is mean to feel like!

Many thanks in advance for your help and advice

It's entirely normal. A wide range of responses are entirely normal. This is a long term process, the first dose level of 2.5mg is not going to produce significant weight loss for the majority although some do get that.

It takes between 8 and 72 hours for the medication to peak in your system, then it starts to fall away but is not completely gone from your system by the time you take the next injection. So the levels build each week.

Suppression means not feeling hungry or as hungry as usual, and eating less at mealtimes and staying fuller for longer. You may start to experience that this week, or next week, or some time after that. Some people don't get the full effect until 5mg, or higher doses. A small percentage of people don't ever get the full effect.

I am 7 months in and have reached my goal.

i have never felt the complete suppression that people talk about - it’s more just being full after a meal and not snacking. Which is perfect for me.

thinking back I felt something two days after my first 2.5mg, could have been the drug but could also have just been my mind playing tricks😊.

it does work for the majority of people - don’t go too fast though. I am now adjusting to loose skin😩.
