I got travel insurance from Tesco and asked them on live chat if I needed to declare it, they confirmed I didn't.

I would absolutely declare it - always better to over-declare than under-declare.

Lovetoridemybicycle · 22/04/2025 23:30

I declared it, because it's not been prescribed for a medical condition (obesity didn't count) then they wanted to know but it didn't affect anything as they counted it as cosmetic. I have read others saying that obesity counted as a pre-existing condition.
The lesson is tell them, so they have no excuses

I agree on the telling them, I just couldn't see where to add it (and taking the mini-pill!) so I asked them for advice. Response on chat was both don't need to be declared (but I obviously kept the transcripts from the conversations too!)
