Breakthrough bleeding on HRT & MJ - anyone else?

Just taken my 4th dose of 2.5 and have had increasingly heavy bleeding for the last few days. I am on HRT and read somewhere that MJ can block absortion of prog (would also explain the return of hideous insomnia).

Prior to MJ I have had break through bleeding, thickened endometrium but clear biopsy post hysteroscopy.

Anyone been through this - is it likely to settle - or do I need to get another way of getting prog (coil?).

Do you take oral progesterone ? If so you need to seek advice from your doctor as the new menopause guidelines say that oral progesterone probably won’t work as well if you take Mounjaro, so you need to either change your progesterone or increase the dose.
It’s a new guideline that only came out last week, but lots of info online and I think there is already another post on here about it.

If your progesterone is out of balance it often does cause bleeding. I’d suggest making a dr appointment.

You could try taking the progesterone vaginally which neatly bypasses the stomach

I tried this at first but it’s very messy and smelly.
