Have I broken my pen?

Hi,

I took dose 3 yesterday, wound the pen the number 1, then realised I hadn't primed it, so without thinking, I in twisted it, primed the needle and twisted back to 1 again.
Will I not be able to get the 4th dose out now I've done this? Will I have reached my "click total"? X x x

There is no click total. It’ll be fine.

Why does everyone say the pen will lock out at like 260 clicks or whatever? Is that got the case?

No, the limit is the amount of medication left in the pen, not the clicks. If you are doing the right number of clicks at the right concentration then the pen will stop working at 240 clicks as you will have reached the amount of medication the pen is designed to give, but that’s not because the pen is limited to 240 clicks mechanically, it’s because at that point there isn’t enough medicine left in the pen for the mechanism. If you do the clicks and then rewind without injecting, no medication has been administered, you don’t ‘lose’ clicks.
