Weak nails

Anyone else had super weak nails?

Nothing else seems different

I'm on week 11 2nd 5mg pen.

my thumbnails which have previously been described as ‘thick talons’ by my nail lady are now thin as paper and peeling! Other nails are okay.

No my nails are fine.

My hair on the other hand 😭😭😭

Me too! I was just about to make a thread about this.

At first on the treatment my nails became lovely and strong, but now after 4 months and 20kg they’re breaking all the time, even in the quick.

Any ideas why? I’m taking a load of different vitamin supplements plus trying to max protein intake. Is there anything else I can do? Any specific supplements I should be taking?

A lot of hair seems to be coming out too. Is it the same mechanism behind both?

I started taking daily collagen supplements a couple of months ago and it’s made a massive difference to my nails, they are stronger than ever!

Not on the jab but I wrecked my nails and opi bond repair does seem to be helping. I got it off ebay as prices vary hugely! Early days mind...
