How long does it take to switch to Oushk?

AmateurNoun · 14/04/2025 19:13

I am with Morrisons and I am nearly 3 weeks in and 10lb down. I was 2 stone overweight (BMI 30 when I started) so only have another 1st4lb to a normal BMI (currently BMI 28).

I was thinking about switching to Oushk as I hear they are good for maintenance and you can pick the delivery date. I thought it might be easier to switch now rather than at maintenance stage.

Does anyone have any recent experience switching to Oushk though? I need my next pen for next Wednesday 23rd and wasn't sure if it might take a while to switch. I could do Morrisons for another month otherwise.

The soonest you could get it is 25/4/25 so a bit beyond your date I'm afraid

TheChosenTwo · 14/04/2025 19:35

I would also say that for the last 3 months of ordering and choosing a delivery day with Oushk they have delivered a day or two early, kind of annoying as it’s why I stick with them, and the postage is expensive but fortunately there has always been someone home to accept the delivery.
editing to add the postage and packaging is expensive, those water ice packs are heavy to transport! But it’s annoying that I still don’t seem to be getting the day I choose.

Pharmulous and TFC both allow you to pick a delivery date if you email as soon as you order. TFC are not the speediest but Pharmulous do next day delivery if ordered before 2. Might obviously taken a day or so extra if a new patient. They are also very maintenance friendly!!

It could be tricky right now because of Easter. I had multiple messages from MedExpress to order early. Not sure about Oushk to be fair but it could be a similar case. You would not want it to be stuck with courier over the Easter weekend and for the ice packs to melt.

Oh yeah damn I forgot about the bank holidays.

Just placed a refill order with Morrisons. If it turns out that turns up a bit late I think I should be OK for a day or 2 without it relying on willpower or just aiming to eat the calories I burn rather than the approx 1000 calories under I am getting with the medicine.

I'll switch next month. Thanks all!

Their webpage is shit can be a bit temperamental, with delivery dates resetting after entering a discount code or making any other change. Always check before submitting order and check in the orders page/or order email too it’s got the right date.

OK wow Morrisons were quick with my reorder. I ordered last night and it's arriving tomorrow.

Now to tell my DH about it as he doesn't know yet, but I am going to have to put it in the fridge for a week...

Thanks @WeAllHaveWings - interesting to know although other than the first month I haven’t used a discount code and I don’t remember making any changes to my order. The last couple of times I’ve gone back specifically to check the date of delivery too!
It’s just a bit of a niggle, I know technically even if it got left outside it would be fine until I got home but your advice may well be useful to others if they are using codes and going back to add things etc to their orders.

TheBuffetInspector · 15/04/2025 19:40

Hopefully I switched this morning!

However earliest delivery is 25th. That's fine with me. I've got 3 weeks of 7. 5 left.

I would say photograph yourself, any other medications, your last mounjaro prescription and your ID so that they are ready to upload.

I got kicked back to the beginning twice whilst taking the pics. I also got to checkout and it kept saying that I hadn't done my health record (I had) went back and did that twice then when it kept saying it, I just clicked continue checkout.

So fingers crossed I've got 10mg for £149 (that includes their discount) rather than the £190 or so that I was looking at with previous supplier.

Plus hopefully a maintenance plan in a couple of months. I should hope so, I burned a fair few calories just swearing at the site 🤣

It'll be fine if you are prepared.

There are always codes available for existing customers so worth keeping an eye out for them, normally OUSHK15 is running for £15 off. Sometimes slightly better codes, last one was £22 off.

Oh thanks @WeAllHaveWings - I’m a bit lazy and don’t usually check emails 😂 is this where you find them?

WeAllHaveWings · 15/04/2025 21:46

@TheChosenTwo Either in emails or their Facebook “support” group
