Anyone sometimes get phlegm, sore throats, glands up, sneezing?

Just that really.

I only get these symptoms from time to time. They’re not a “cold”; they’re definitely related to Mounjara. I’ve read it’s something to do with the vagus nerve and immune system.

Its not too awful to deal with - but can make me feel a bit mizzy sometimes when it does strikes.

Anyone else get these kind of symptoms from time to time? Most people seem to get gastro issues (which funny enough I’ve had only rarely).

I had it after a few days the first time I took mounjaro. I thought maybe it was because I also started my period and generally feel run down around that time of the month. Week 2 and there’s a slight niggle in back of throat but nothing like week 2. But yes last week I had a very bad sore throat and phlegm for a day and a half

Yes definitely. Within about 18 hours of my first 2.5mg dose the swollen glands were horrendous - neck, under arms, base of skull and it scared me a little as the tenderness was so bad I couldn’t touch it. I feared it was some kind of severe reaction. It then waned and was followed up by a sore throat and 4 days of feeling like I’d had a Covid/flu jab. My provider Numan were useless with their support. Reading back to me the indications on the patient leaflet so ended up crowdsourcing information from here and Reddit to reassure myself.

I’ve since gone down to a dose of 0.5mg for 2 doses, and my last dose yesterday of 1.25mg made me ache in those areas a little and had a sore/husky throat yesterday which has now gone.

I also don’t really have the the GI issues. Perhaps a little more constipated and a touch of nausea now and then. I plan to titrate a lot steadier and slower than the providers want you to…

Well, they’re not very nice symptoms, sometimes quite sore and uncomfortable … but it’s also nice to know that you’re not alone or wonder what’s happening or what’s going on. I’m in my 5th month and the symptoms return occasionally, for no particular reason that I can predict. At the moment I’m just a bit sniffy/ phlegmy.
