Fear of the wobble and loose skin.

So, I think I’ve been a bit smug thinking I’d be fine. I’ve lost 25kg in 19 weeks, so decent weight loss.

I’ve been running 4/5 times a week and doing strength/weights at least twice a week. Thought I’d look amazing by summer but I actually look like a squidgy jelly baby.

I’m probably not eating enough protein. I had a look at myself in the mirror and I’m really wobbly, especially my legs. When I was fat it felt quite firm but now it feels really soft and jelly like.

What can I do to firm it all up? Have I fucked it up by not eating enough protein and lost too much muscle? Is too late to really hammer the weight training and attempt to salvage something? Also terrified that the loose skin comes next.

I don't see any harm in doing some toning exercises.

It’s never too late to start weight training!

Well done with your brilliant weight loss!

From my experience, the best way to deal with wobbly skin is to build muscle. I have/had wobbly inner thighs but exercise is now helping to fill them out again (in a good way with toned muscle).

The other option is surgery which I did get on my arms (bingo wings). However, it's expensive and not always successful, and it leaves a scar.

Protein great too for both skin and muscle
