Missed 2 doses

Has anyone missed 2 doses and then gone back to injecting as normal? Lost a family member so head has not been into it at all but want to get back into it as yet another thing im feeling crap about

My understanding is if you miss 2 doses you need to go back to 2.5mg

I know the official guidance is to restart at 2.5 but I think it really depends on what dose you are on tbh. If a low one, you’ll probably be ok just restarting. If higher, maybe drop down a bit? Speak to your prescriber and see what they recommend.

Best bet is to speak to your provider. Depending on your history some will allow you to restart on 5mg or perhaps a dose or two lower than your current dose.

Either way you will need to speak to them to allow them to keep prescribing the dose you are on with the break.

Yes l missed two due to Norovirus..the pharmacy l buy from advised me to start again ( I'd just gone onto 12.5) .. so l started again.. didn't get suppression until 7.5.. didn't loose any weight but didn't put any on either.

you can go up two 8 weeks before having to restart, this may be different depending on your provider, I took a 3 week gap due to holiday started back on 5mg the same dose I was on and everything was fine :)
