Does everyone have to move supplier each month to get the discount and what does this involve?

I have put my code on the MN link but doesnt seemed to have been used - I am only week two. Is this typical - do I now need to find another supplier? Will I have to do this each month?

You can do whatever you like! You don't have to do anything. You can stick with your current supplier and pay their full price without a discount. Or, if that's too expensive for you, you can change suppliers. You can do that each month if you want to, or you can find a supplier that just charges competitive prices and then stay with them.

It wasn't too difficult in the past for someone to use your code as there were less users last year, but I expect there are hundreds or even thousands of codes on those threads now so it will all be down to luck if someone uses yours.

I don't use a supplier with referrals, obviously means it isn't the absolute cheapest it could be, I've been paying £134 for a 5mg pen (incl P&P) with their general discounts, probably £25ish more expensive than the cheapest supplier but the £5/week difference (over at least 5 doses) is not worth messing about changing suppliers and referrals for me.

Just look on www.monj.co.uk, pick the cheapest supplier for your dose and place an order. They'll ask for whatever they want as proof of your previous dose.

I'm staying with Medicine Marketplace now as I'm on 10mg so they are basically the best priced without the faff.

I assume that you are talking about a MedExpress code? Apologies if not.

I've chosen not to use the ME codes due to bad reviews and the comparison wasn't all that great compared to my usual supplier.

That said, as I've gone up to 7.5 this month and it was a bit much on side effects then I am looking to move to Oushk or similar. Have another 7.5 and then I'll only have another stone to go, so looking for maintenance suppliers. I could lose more but being 5.8 in my 50s and being 11 stone something after 2 kids and meno is perfectly normal. Maybe high 10s. But def looking towards maintenance.

If you’re happy paying full price then you don’t need to move. If you want to save money then best to move.

Oushk. Current price for 5mg is £149 + £7 postage = £156

They have a permanent code OUSHK15 to take it down to £141

But they also regularly do better codes last one was £22 off (taking it to £134), previous one on black friday was 20% off (paid £127). They still do a new customer £30 off code too I think.

You can join their email list and/or facebook support group to see codes when they come up (and get free entertainment from their worshippers of their lead pharmacist and anything pink)

I order a couple of pens each time they have a better code. You can order in advance with a future date using the better codes and if you decide to change your pen strength nearer the time can phone and pay the difference.

They are not the cheapest, but I have found them reliable.

Look on monj.co.uk to compare their prices with others.

@Fatmumslim01 if you have a look on monj.co.uk and sort by 5mg then look down the discounts column you can see which pharmacies are the cheapest AFTER the first discount. In this case, IQDoctor have the 5mg for £114.98 inc p&p with a permanent discount code so no need to swap around.

Another one is Simple Online who price match everyone so again, no need to swap around.

And no, I’m not with either of them! 😂 (think WeAllHave Wings is with Oushk)

See that doesn't bother me, maybe because I'm too old to understand the ins and outs of social media, I just see that as another form of marketing.

Now, the pink branded packaging when it was supposed to be discreet, then charging 50p for discreet packaging, that was different 🤣 They back tracked on that quite quickly - which surprised me as the way their worshippers were going on about how pretty/special it was you would have thought they were giving away free pens!

No mine is with Zava (who supply ASDA) - they have been excellent - very fast response and delivery and followup email support.
I will need to look ahead for maintenance suppliers - do you drop down the dose and can get a better deal - as I would like to stay on it for a year or two at least.
It was 25% off worked out at about £106 with P&P - so with bonus dose only £20/week and was hoping to keep costs to that for next couple of years.

My Zava code has been used at least 4 times now, latest was yesterday. I still haven't used all of them up as they've twice offered really good discounts to existing customers so I've ordered two pens each time. Think the last time was January. It was a long time ago I added it, but was able to say how long I'd been using it and how much I'd lost. Maybe that makes a difference?

Even with the code I know I could get it cheaper elsewhere but they've always been fine for me, and if you order two pens at a time they seem to send them next day before 1pm delivery which is really handy.

I may switch to Oushk for maintenance but still a way to go before that's a consideration for me.

@Southwest12 when someone uses your code does it share any details eg name?

I wanted to avoid moving suppliers but Asda is looking for the guts of £200 now which I'm not paying. I'm tempted to email them and ask if they can give me a lower price 😂

@aylis I am with Asda too and I really did email them asking if they had any repeat customer discount and they said no 😞

No, I just get an email from Zava saying someone has used your code. They don't share any details of the other person at all.

When you are all on monj, there is a section dedicated to price matching. You can choose a company that price matches all companies even with discounts. This cuts a lot of hassle out with swapping. I am on 15mg and have never paid more than £150 for a pen. Last month it was £143 delivered and all it takes is an email and screenshot.
