I know! Idiot ! I’m due to take 7.5mg on Saturday.

anyhow, I’ll be back next Friday. What do I do ? Can I take the 7.5mg then or do I need to go back down ? I don’t want to get sick !

I'm confused about the timings here. Your normal injection day is Saturday, so you injected 7.5mg on Sat 5th April. You went away today, for 6 days, but you're not back until next Friday? So not back until Friday 18th April? That's more than 6 days away, so not sure what the gap will be between doses.

The instruction leaflet says:

"If it has been 4 days or less since you should have used Mounjaro, use it as soon as you remember. Then inject your next dose as usual on your scheduled day.

If it has been more than 4 days since you should have used Mounjaro, skip the missed dose. Then inject your next dose as usual on your scheduled day. "

So, do whichever of those applies in your situation.

Sorry yes I have described it badly. I’m going to miss my Saturday dose this week. I’ll be back on Friday. By which time it will have been almost 2 weeks late for my dose.

I would take it when you get back on Friday then, I think. You could look at one of the dose graphing apps or websites to see what the levels of Mounjaro in your system are, and what they will fall to by Friday, and then what the jump up will be when you inject.

I doubt you'd get bad side effects as a result of the delayed injection. The peak of the medication will be lower than your previous injection, as you will be starting from a lower base if that makes sense? A graph would make it clearer!

I was able to get a pen where I am, so I don’t have a problem now, thankfully.
