Should Mounjaro be mentioned in holiday insurance?

I’m just getting a couple of holiday insurance quotes. Obviously it asks if I’ve been prescribed medication for a health condition. Other than Mounjaro, no. Or would obesity count as the medical condition? 🤔
I’m really not sure and would appreciate your experience and actual fact.
For reference, I will be jabbed up prior to going. Departure day will be day 2 of week 2 (2.5mg).

I've recently got travel insurance and taking mounjaro. I've declared it as treatment for obesity. Didn't seem to increase the price of what I normally pay prior to taking it.

It’s a prescription drug. You must declare it otherwise your insurance may not be valid.

Thanks. I phoned a couple of insurers and they weren’t interested, as it’s for weight loss and not diabetes. So it won’t affect anything. I’m now insured with peace of mind, so it was definitely worth ringing up.

You need to make sure it is known and noted on your policy by the insurance company. If you end up with a serious GI issue, or any issue, while abroad you don't want them using it to get out of paying.

There was a woman recently who never declared her HRT, she was hospitalised with an unrelated problem while on holiday and her insurance company rejected her £28,000 claim!
