Needles for magic dose

Just coming to the end of my first MJ pen, 2.5mg dose. I can see there's another one still in there. For people who use the leftovers, which needles do you recommend ordering?

"golden" dose was bad enough are we now onto "magic" dose... 🙈

It’s a fifth dose. Nothing magic or golden about it and the silly terminology leads to people making silly mistakes with it such as taking it at the same time as their 4th dose! 🤦🏼‍♀️

I got those syringes. Tried to use: The needle bent and then broke off even trying to draw off the fifth dose, never mind inject it. My one star review (because I couldn’t leave a no star review) has not appeared on the website, funnily enough

@angelinawasrobbed the 8mm ones? How the heck did that happen?? I’ve used one about 13 times now and not had any issues at all!

I haven’t dared use another. Might get one out tonight and see what happens. The needle was so flimsy it just bent when I applied it to the rubber end of the pen, didn’t pierce it at all.

I've been using the purple syringes (I won't link as someone already has) but now I use a "fifth dose plunger" - even cheaper as you only need to buy it once. I remove the end section from the pen and then you can inject the fifth dose in the usual way.

You need to snap the grey bit off, take the old plunger thingy out and then insert the "fifth dose plunger". Attach your needle head and then press down on your new plunger and it injects like usual.
There's a free pattern to print it with a 3D laser or buy from someone who has a machine already. I got mine off ebay.

I use a long syringe to draw it up.. then swap needle to a smaller one to inject.. then you're not getting any infections from the rubber seal.
Long draws easier.. small fine one doesn't hurt .. just pinch your skin.

There is no way to measure the dose you are getting at the end which could be anything from <0.5 to possibly as much as 0.9ml.

If you don't care about the dose you are getting you might as well use the other risky hack where you break off the dose knob and push from the inside with anything long and thin (screwdriver, allan key, cotton bud).

I bought some from Amazon. Done it 3x and not had an issue.

@WivVestwoodwatch out with that link they are unnecessarily long 13mm laboratory dispensing tools. Amazon cannot sell as human grade syringes so you have no guarantee what you are getting. Best to buy from a medical supplier like uk medi.

you are looking for 1ml syringes with a 8mm needle. A 32G is the finest needle. Or if you want shorter 6mm or 4mm you can but separates from same page.
