Extreme tiredness

Hi, just wondering if anyone else has extreme tiredness the first few days after injecting.
I've just taken my third injection of Mounjaro 2.5 late Thursday afternoon. I had a migraine a few hours after (not uncommon for me anyway and first one since taking Mounjaro) fell asleep at 9pm on sofa barely remember taking myself to bed and then really struggled to get up Friday morning, slept in an extra hour and still ended up in bed at 9:30 again Friday night, same thing Saturday morning. Managed to stay up to just past my normal bed time Saturday night and Sunday I got up as normal and this morning I got up fine. So it seems like it's affecting that first 48hours or so. Any tips or is it just something I have to deal with? Will it get better or worse as more builds up in my system.

I did have some tiredness in the first few weeks not sure if it was the medication, lack of calories, change in metabolism, reduction in sugar spikes, reduction in caffeine (stopped drinking way to much pepsi) - who knows! - but after a few weeks it disappeared.

I have been able to stay on lower doses, so don't know if it will happen again when increasing doses.

I had this for the first couple of days after jag for the first 3 months (although I didn't actually sleep more - I never do- just felt like first trimester fatigue) but it's faded as time has went on. I'm now in my 6th month & on 5mg and it's barely noticeable now.

I was exhausted for the first three months. It then kind of lifted but I still get tired on the day after jab day now. If the exhaustion I felt in the first 3 months had continued, I might have had to stop mj!! So I'm glad it's passed.

Good luck. If you are like me, it will get better!

I was more tired when taking 2.5mg but getting PBs in the gym etc and could still go about my day.

I'm on 5mg now and utterly exhausted, sleeping long hours, having naps and constantly yawning. Not a fan of this!

Thanks for the replies, fingers crossed my body gets used to it very soon and the same to everyone else!

Absolutely shattered for a couple of months after starting. Seems to be improving now. I've been very jealous of people on mounjaro who have had an energy boost with their weight loss - I wish!
