Supplier Swap

Hi have been using Voy for 6 months. I think looking around it is one of the more expensive suppliers and I was happy to pay for this initially as good aftercare. However now I am up and running I simply need the medication and no need for the app/advice etc.
I am therefore looking for alternative options. My BMI was 31 and now 26.
I have two questions please:

  1. a complete requirement for me is that I can’t use a supplier who notifies my GP. (Because I work in healthcare myself not for medical reasons)
  2. now my BMI is 26 is swapping an issue? I am still 8kgs off my target weight.

can people recommend suppliers please on this basis? Alternatively has anyone had success with Voy and threatened to leave and they have reduced their pricing? (Now paying £229/month). Thanks

I started out with Voy last year but their pricing is insane! They will give you a discount if you say you are leaving for price issues. I keep reading that they will also price match so may be worth asking!

To answer your other questions, I think it is harder to find pharmacies that don’t automatically contact your gp following the updated regulations but, IME, TFC, Pharmulous and Oushk all give you the option of downloading a letter to hand in yourself instead of them doing it. All three of those will also take you on at your bmi with proof of previous prescriptions. (Double check on TFC but the other two def will!)

I was offered £50 off next order or £30 permanently. I went for the later. I will keep an eye on the market. It’s still expensive!

Have you seen this? https://monj.co.uk/discount-mounjaro-price-list/

I can get 15mg for £145 so you're definitely being ripped off at £229.

Cloud and Oushk are both good for maintenance when you get there and they don't tell your GP. They give you a letter to give to your GP but don't force you.

I used to work in the NHS and my colleagues wouldn't have looked up my record as everything is audited and you need a good reason to look something up, you can't just snoop around. If you work in the GP practice I would want to move my records to a different GP surgery to separate work and life.

Plus these days anyone who loses weight is assumed to be on GLP1s anyway.
