SheMed - A Few Weeks In

So I'm 9 weeks into my ShedMed Mounjaro journey and have lost 1 stone so far, most of it in the first 4-5 weeks. After one pen of 2.5mg (4 weeks), I found appetite suppression wasn't happening and weight loss all but stopped, I was glad they increased my dose to 5mg for pen 2 but appetite suppression isn't working well and my weight hasn't changed much - lose a pound, gain a pound, lose, gain, despite eating healthy, eating less and exercising. Pen 3 is also 5mg. When do they up the dose again?
I think my body might have already got used to the meds at 5mg. The only side effect is that my night sweats have stopped which is a welcome result. How's it been for others?

Mounjaro itself won't do anything for weightloss. Being in a calorie deficit is how you are loosing the weight. The mounjaro helps us stick to a calori deficit/stay fuller for longer etc.

I would look at what your eating....
Do you count calories?

I eat oatmeal porridge for breakfast, with a little milk, no sweeteners, homemade veggie soups for lunch, no bread, no sweets, no cakes, no desserts. Then in the evening a good sized chopped salad with either meat, fish, eggs or fish fingers. I'm def in calorie deficit

Drink at least 2 litres of water a day, eat high protein, veggie soups will have little nutrition, try chicken or fish for lunch like tuna or grilled chicken salad etc or an omelette. Limit carbs, but you already say you don't have many. I have a protein shake for breakfast. I've lost on average 1lb a week, I lost 5lbs in week 1 with water loss, the first pen shows most losses due to reduced inflammation and thus water retention. The hard work starts after then. I track all my food in myfitnesspal, my deficit is only 1250 calories. You say you don't eat any bread, sweets, desserts etc but how did you gain weight? Tracking your food may reveal extra calories you haven't noticed etc

I've gained weight also some weeks. I was constipated, felt so bloated, I've also just been prescribed extra progesterone on top of HRT to stop incessant bleeding.
Sometimes it does go up and down, mine varied 5lbs!
I don't think the food I ate even weighed 5lbs.
There's more to weight than calorie counting. Especially with hormones and medications at play.
I'm not disheartened, I know it's all hormones and water retention.

Sorry @cmma01 I don't know how SheMed works, why aren't they, or why can't you, up your dosage monthly?
