Asda order pending - how long will it take

ordered Mounjaro with Asda on Friday as they allow pick up from their pharmacy and I’m hardly ever in for deliveries. Got a message on Saturday asking for photos - submitted them at 8am on Monday… not heard anything back. Does anyone know how long they usually take?

we’re going on holiday on Sunday for two weeks and I was really keen to start before we go. I’m only just over BMI 30 and worrying that my photos aren’t obvious enough - I think I look big in them - also I didn’t flip the photos so the dates are back to front - worrying that’s going to cause them to be rejected… I was so excited about starting and now feeling all worried that it’s not going to happen.

My dates were always back to front in the pictures too with no issues. If you were wearing something figure hugging and not black you should be ok.

My first order with Asda was back in July last year, but I did the online form and uploaded pics on a Wednesday at 9am ish and it was approved at 2.30pm ish that afternoon. However, I was undoubtedly massively obese (BMI 50) so there would have been no debate about it whatsoever. Subsequent re-orders were approved same day, if I submitted the form in the morning.

Is there anything in the online account about the status of the order?

When I started with them, it was super quick, but last few orders have been slower, assume due to uptake in users. Usually its between 2-5 days now.

Thanks both. It just says pending - I suspect photos haven’t been looked at yet. It’s taken 6 months for me to decide to go for it so really a couple more weeks don’t matter I suppose!!

Did you get yours approved in the end? I applied Friday and like you am only just bmi over 30. All of my weight is around my stomach and I have smaller legs and arms so worried it wont be approved but now I have made the decision I just want to get on with it.

It's taking about a week at the moment. I ordered mine on a Friday & it arrived the following thursday. The picture thing may well have delayed it further by a couple of days. It's a much slower ordering process than it used to be.

Fine, but I've been on the 15 mg for quite a while.

@Teddy31 hey. Yes! I got approved - I think it was Wednesday morning by the time I got the email but that was back in April. I think Asda are busy now because their prices have become very competitive.

It’s worked very well for me. I’m currently on holiday but last time I weighed I was down 2 stone 4lbs and I haven’t increased my dose beyond 3.75mg.

Wow thats amazing, well done. Do asda give you a target weight to get to then or do you just come off them when you're in a healthy weight range?
