Broken pen

Hi,

My twist function on my 5mg pen doesn't work, seems jammed, I have ordered sringes and will use those to get out the medicine.

Can someone tell me how much I need to extract for a 3.75 and 5mg dose? Undecided on if to move to 3.75 or 5mg so looking for info on both. Thank you

A full dose from any pen is 0.6ml. So for a 5mg dose from a 5mg pen you’d need 0.6ml. For 3.75 mg from a 5mg pen you’d need 0.45ml. (3.75mg is 75% of 5mg, 0.45ml is 75% of 0.6ml) But please check my maths and work it through for yourself.

I use pliers to twist it around but the plunger inside can also detach so easier to use a syringe. How many doses had you taken?
