Will it work for me?

I’ve got at least 3 stone to drop. I’m considering jabs but I’m not sure if they will be right for me. I tend to eat mindlessly-almost as if I have to eat the stuff if it’s available. Will the jabs help with this? I pretty much think about food all the time-but I’m not hungry as such.

Yes, in all likelihood they will work for you. What you are describing is similar to what many people who take them felt like before starting.

Okay…good to know. I’m really nervous about the side effects- both short and long term but I can’t break this really negative cycle I get into with food

Only one way to find out really. No one can say whether it will or won’t work. There are a small number of people I believe that it just won’t work for but for the vast majority they are finding that it works for them exactly in the way they had hoped.
I’ve had such minimal side effects that it’s been a really easy journey for me and as I just wrote in another MJ thread, it’s the best thing I’ve ever spent money on.

If losing the weight for your health is necessary then the risks of possible side effects are outweighed by the benefits of losing weight.

Everyone seems terrified of the possible side effects, which seems quite out of proportion to the likelihood of getting them. Most side effects, if experienced, are mild and manageable. Even more unpleasant side effects are normally short lasting and manageable.

I’m the same , I’m a boredom eater rather than a hungry one. I’ve lost 2.5 stone in 6 months so quite slow but feel so much better , I’d like another stone off ideally , and side effects haven’t been that bad at all

Yes, it will hopefully take away the good noise.

I was worried about all this and more before starting. I researched for 5 months before taking the plunge.

it’s the best thing I have done for my health. I used to eat and eat for the sake of it. Constantly thinking about what takeaway we’d have next, get excited for my shopping trip treats and always be thinking of food - needing to eat until really felt full etc.

The injections have changed my life and my waistline. I have lost so much weight I couldn’t have before as the food noise was so loud, it’s a miracle.

I am so happy.
