Has anyone had a break from MJ and then restarted but not had as good appetite suppressant? I lost weight fairly easily and steadily on 2.5 but stopped for 2 months for various reasons and have restarted but the suppressant just isn’t as good, anyone else experienced this?

I went right up to 10mg.. lost three and half stone.. but had a months break due to Norovirus.. l started back at 2.5 no suppression.. non on 5mg either.. now I'm going onto 7.5 tomorrow.. not lost weight but not put any one
2.5 is only a starting dose.. not many loose on that.

I was on 5mg, had about 6 weeks off, quickly went back to about 3.75mg and have had good suppression, lost 8lb in 6 weeks which is good as I've not much left to loose.

Yes I have, I started in sept had short break beg Dec as unwell, altogether lost 2 stone and 3 dress sizes but had break Jan - feb for various reasons. Restarted recently on 2.5 food noise not as bad was but not had the feeling of too full to eat which I had when first started in September. Only ever gone up to 3.75 which due to start that dose tomorrow but considering going up to 5 mg in a few weeks as want to lose this last stone to be in healthy weight on scale. Feeling confident I will but going to start tracking calories as only lost 1lb in 4 weeks. Unsure if like you said anything to do wit restarting it but determined to continue. Once at desired weight going to do maintenance for a few months gradually reducing it down. I do cardio but Trying to re start doing strength training too and up protein. My sugar intake is massively reduced and my skin looks best it has in years. MJ has done wonders for regaining my confidence and feeling like me again. I definitely need to be more disciplined with calorie intake as previously found it easy when appetite suppressed but for me I felt it was better for me to still want to eat so I could eat healthy and get in better habits. Sweet stuff doesn’t taste as good these days. Think if just didn’t eat properly in time would regain once not taking it. Know everyone is different but just feel this way works for me but probably taking longer.

It appears to be very common from what I have read. Your body is already primed from your previous use so needs higher levels before responding. Often seems to happen when people switch between other GLP1s from what I understand.

Yes this happened to me- did 2 x lots of 2.5mg followed by 5mg last year over a 3 month period, had a break for about 9 months and started again on 2.5mg last month. Suppression is much less than it was when I first started, and loss is slower.

I don't mind it too much though, as it feels more sustainable- last time I was nauseous and had to force myself to eat a lot of the time, which isn't what I want.
