Anyone swapped providers for maintenance?

Has anyone swapped providers for maintenance? I’ve been with boots throughout my journey (I know they are expensive, don’t shoot me) but now I’m nearly at a healthy BMI it’s time to think about maintenance. How easy is it to swap providers? I’m currently on 12.5mg and obviously would like to stay on this dose. Also if you are already doing maintenance how does it work please, do you have to drop down a few doses to stop you losing too much weight?

Congrats on your loss! Pharmulous, Simple Online and Oushk will all consider taking on patients with a healthy bmi.

I moved to Pharmulous just under bmi 30 and it was very easy and completely painless. Just needed a follow up email with ID and photo of previous prescription label. I know Oushk do video consultations but not sure about SOP.

Thank you. I’ve still got a bit to go before my bmi is healthy but I’d rather swap now than wait. I’ve also looked at monj and realised how much I’ve got ripped off by boots but that’s another story. I’ll look into the providers you’ve suggested.

I have also moved to Pharmulous for maintenance, but Cloud and Oushk are also supportive of maintenance. Simple Online seems to be giving mixed messages according to reports on the UK maintenance reddit, so I would not advise them unless you have spoken to them and feel reassured that they will not be imposing their idea of what maintenance means.

Personally I want a provider that will work with me and be supportive while I find out what works best for me, whether that is coming off entirely, a lower dose, a more spread-out dosing schedule or a schedule of intermittent breaks from medication.

@IrisPallidaI agree. There’s so much conflicting information regarding maintenance, I’ll have a look on Reddit as well.

I use care pharmacy and they also offer maintenance as long as your BMI is above 19.5.

£180ish for 15mg dose.
