How will you navigate holidays with WL pens?

I’m on 2.5mg at moment but we are due to go on an all inclusive holiday at the end of June.

Im not worried about putting on a few pounds whilst there as we’re only going for a week but I do want to be able to enjoy the food without feeling too full or sick (but within the limits of eating a reasonable amount)
has anyone successfully missed a week or 2 and then returned to their normal dose after?

does your appetite come back ten fold fairly quickly?

@zerofucksgivenever take in hand luggage. Put in tray at security. Never had anything said or questions asked. Mine is in a Frio wallet. Also take the box with prescription on and my needles/syringes in my clear bag for liquids. No one has ever been interested in either Europe or the Caribbean (where we ar now).

@zerofucksgivenever yes to hand luggage, no to ‘declaring’ if you mean showing it to anybody. Other than the first time I flew, mine has stayed in its cooler case or Frio wallet in my bag for every other one of the other 7 flights it has taken with me. Even Dubai security had sod all interest!

I'll also be going to an AI soon, and the current plan is to keep taking it. Albeit slightly nervous about travelling with it and not breaking anything!

The way I see it is, I'm not paying for an amount of food and drink, but rather paying to not have to do any of the thinking or arranging food for a week. It doesn't really matter if I eat £100 worth less than I would do over a week without it, or whatever. Or if I end up being more expensive because I eat fish instead of bread.

That said, it's a fairly bog standard one as far as I can tell, so not missing out on anything remarkable, and also I haven't had massive suppression. Still eating 3 meals a day, just healthier ones. There's always fish, salad and veg soup at these things anyway. Might feel differently if I'd ponied up for one with 6 restaurants.

I'm worried about taking it on the Eurostar next month. I'm travelling with extended family and I don't want them to know about me taking mj. I know there'll be no issue taking it with me, and I'll take my prescription details with me, but I'm worried, going through security, that I'll have to take it out in front of everyone. Does anyone know if they are likely to want to see it, or will it be fine in my luggage and just go through the xray machine. I've never travelled on the Eurostar, does anyone have experience of this?

Presuming the Eurostar is the same as airport security, you just put it in your hand luggage and no-one is in the slightest interested in the pen. I take prescription details in the cooler with it, but have never been asked about it anywhere in Europe or South America. Most places now have the clever new scanners where you don't even have to take liquids or laptops out of your bag. No one I've travelled with would have known I had the pen.
