Oviva appointment

DH has an appointment in April over the phone having waited ages to start their service.
He has high cholesterol, on Cpap at night for sleep apnea and monitored by the hospital. His BMI is 41. Are they likely to offer him injections? He’s been over weight most of his life. Constant hunger.

Has he been through the other weight management plans in the NHS?

Hi GP tried oral medication but he had quite tricky side effects. Is that what you mean?

There is tiered weight management and often can't get mounjaro until you've been through the others. Look them up on nhs website or ask your GP.

He’s been excepted onto their tier 3 program

I’m keen to know from anyone who is on the Oviva tier 3 program with similar bmi and health issues, how straight forward injection prescriptions have been?

Check out Oviva on TrustPilot perhaps?

Someone just posted on a mounjaro fbook forum that their bmi was 49 and they were still told no to the weight loss injections on tier 3 but then I've heard some have been given it.
