I have been patiently going through the doses a month at a time. My digestion has definitely slowed and I dropped 4kg in first four weeks - mainly I think as a result of horrendous diarrhoea. I no longer have diarrhoea (or sulphur burps which were horrid). I did first 7.5mg week diy-ed at of golden doses from 2.5mg and 5mg pen which was fine. And took first dose from new 7.5mg pen .. and nothing. Very little side effects but very little effects at all and I am so hungry. Is it possible that pen is defective? I've switched suppliers for discount.

I had planned to get to 10mg before giving up on this and declaring myself part of the 15% this doesn't work for. But wondering whether to accelerate it a bit.

You lost 4kg in your first month, how much did you lose in the second?

You are losing so it is working.

I agree 4kg is quite a lot lost. Especially in the first month when the dose is so so small and definitely not therapeutic for some.

Give it time.

Keep going and just keep going up the doses every 4 weeks. I think it's working for you, just the suppression is not as strong yet as for some others. Hang in there..

Lost nothing since first month - in fact put some on depending on how you look at it. Basically wobbling half a kilo up and down same point for 6 weeks.

Are you eating better/healthy since you have started taking it?

Are you counting calories? Weighing food?

4kg in the first month is usually water weight.

If you are eating in a deficit of 3500kcals a week you should lose 0.5kg a week. Takes 7,700kcals to burn 1kg.

You aren't gaining significantly but if you aren't losing, you aren't cutting your calories.

Check your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) for your current height and weight. Subtract 500 and that's what you need to stick to average per day over a week to lose weight.

Try injecting in different places, upper arm, stomach or thigh. Some people find better supression by using a different injection site.

If you haven't lost anything significant in 6 months, the medication might just not work for you. That's based on reaching 15mg and not losing on it either. Reputable suppliers won't prescribe if you haven't lost after that time.
