Four days on Mounjaro and I’ve completely lost my appetite. Unpleasant indigestion and mild nausea so far which is why I don’t want to eat much! I guess that’s how it works?

Yep. It slows your digestion down to make you feel fuller for longer, and more satisfied with smaller meals. It should wear off a bit over the rest of the week.

Drink lots of water, eat little and often, it does get better..until you go up a dose and then the suppression kicks in stronger, well it does for me. I'm on 10mg 5 months in and I can't eat much and it's 4 weeks on it.

A few days ahead of you. But yes. Towards the end of the first week the nausea/morning sickness wore off and it was just a much more pleasant lack of appetite. Weird innit? I was expecting something more pleasant.

Me too! Well I was hoping anyway!

I've just injected my first dose! Feeling excited and a bit nervous!

Zempy · 19/03/2025 19:12

I have only had nausea once or twice. I did feel suppression right from the morning I awoke after my first jab.

I really enjoy the lack of appetite and no food noise directing me towards the biscuit tin!

Good luck!

BeaTwix · 19/03/2025 19:13

Didn’t really feel sick or overly full just not hungry.

injection 2 tonight!

Giddyscroller · 20/03/2025 13:32

Well, as CatsChin predicted the side effects are negligible today, and so I feel hungry for the first time in almost a week., and actually enjoyed my lunch.

Dose 2 tomorrow.

It’s great not to be hungry all the time, isn’t it!
