Is fatigue a side effect

I’m on week 5 of Mounjaro. Had been feeling like I had more energy but started on 5mg today and could barely keep my eyes open at work.
Fatigue isn’t unusual for me due to menopause, sleep apnoea, anxiety but this was the worst I’d felt in a long time.
Anyone else?

Quite a common one but not something I’ve suffered from. I’m bouncing off the walls most of the time!

for me, yes but I’m guessing a lot of it is not eating enough

Yes. I've been exhausted. Not sure if it's hormones or not eating enough but I often need an afternoon nap.

I have experienced extreme weariness while taking Wegovy. Not so much a mental tiredness,as in I want to sleep, more a physical tiredness, feeling like I have no energy.

Yeah, I've been knackered since the start, but it seems to be getting better recently.

Definitely for me, took 2 weeks to hit , I’m at week 7 now and shattered - although when I am working I’m more focused and creative - it’s definitely working on my brain

Azureshores · 19/03/2025 21:36

Yes - I was knackered on 2.5mg, has improved slightly on 5mg. But still generally more tired and lacking in energy. I know it's the MJ and not the fact I'm eating less as I've fasted a couple of times before now and lost weight eating a similar amount of calories and I always had loads of energy before.
