Double dose?

I ordered a second 2.5mg pen but am thinking I should probably have bit the bullet and gone to 5. Has anyone just done two doses to make up the higher dose? So jab 2.5mg twice to end up with 5mg… Do we think it’s okay to do?

I don't think it will do you any harm but a pretty expensive way to do it, plus you'll end up reordering too early, which I'm not sure your supplier would allow. Personally I'd just stick it out and go up next pen.

Hello @roshi42 - did you use 2x 2.5mg to give a dose of 5mg? I am thinking of doing the same. I have been taking it very slowly (1.25mg for 2 weeks then 2.5mg for 5weeks) but now I think I need to move up. I do have 5mg new pen... but don't want to waste 3 remaining doses in this 2.5mg pen. Would be interested to hear what you decided and how it went.

I actually haven’t yet! I keep almost deciding to do it but then figuring I’m still going perfectly well on 2.5 so why risk moving up. I will probably finish this pen and then get a 5 for my next one at this point.
