My first pen arrived without needles!!

Hello - I was looking forward to getting started tomorrow especially after a delay with medexpress which ended up with me cancelling there and ordering from Zava.

But when I unpacked my pen this evening there was no needles or wipes only the pen and sharps bin!

Does anyone have recommendations of where I could get needles fast? I’m sure pharmacy’s don’t sell over the counter so probably best bet Amazon?

That is common and you usually have to buy them separately. You can purchase them on Amazon.

Zava supply needles and wipes. They are usually in a small plastic bag separate to the medication. Are you sure they’re not still in the packaging somewhere? It’s not usual to have to order them separately, and if they really aren’t in the packaging then I would complain to Zava as they should have included them.

I’ve searched through packaging and definitely no sign of them. I have ordered those linked above. Thank you!

This happened with my first order from Zava so I bought needles online, just searched Google for Mounjaro needles. My second order arrived this week and they were included. Odd!

I would contact Zava, only reason I didn't is that I kept the pen for 3 months before injecting!

I’d have just gone back to the supplier - what if the ones you’ve ordered aren’t the right size for the pen? It’s their mistake they need to fix it.

The link I have included above are what I ordered and used with a Mounjaro pen so they do fit. I checked the sizes before ordering and they are the same needles

It’s not the point though, they should supply the needles and I don’t think anyone should have to order them separately, you’ve got the right ones but what if someone ordered the wrong thing and hurt themselves or ruined the pen so it wasn’t usable?
