Anyone else had this please? I’ve had to stop taking it as I’ve felt dreadful. It’s like kidney pain, with nausea and shivering. Could it be connected? Anyone had this please?

Hi

No I haven't had that. I do get absolutely freezing, but definitely no kidney pain. Sounds like you might benefit from a trip to the doctor ....

Thanks. I have an appointment booked but not for a few weeks.

Reading up, it says pancreatitis can be a side effect but I don’t know if that’s what I’m feeling.

Are you dehydrated at all? That might be connected to your kidney area pain.

Pancreatitis is usually a sudden severe pain in your abdomen, centrally, which can radiate into your back.

Feeling cold is a side effect of Mounjaro, but not in the sense of feeling shivery and nauseated, more just generally cold.

You need to drink lots of water daily on mounjaro as it dehydrates the body. Kidney and pancreatitis are signs if severe dehydration. Please drink water ASAP and try at least 2litres a day
